So this game launched today and pretty much no one has been able to play because the servers aren't working.
There's a dozen other tweets like this too that basically say they don't know how they're gonna fix it, but telling the players to keep waiting lol.
I mean I feel bad because it was an indy game with a great concept, but it's been clear for a while now that they needed to take more time with it.

If they were gonna make it come out on a Friday they should've just waited until October since it's Friday the 13th, and the month of Halloween.

I feel bad. These guys started making an indy game they never intended to be this popular. Then they got the license, backing from the fans, had a successful Beta, and looked to be on the way to surprise success. But they're just too small a company to be able to handle the overwhelming amount of people playing it. And since it's an actual Friday the 13th game, people are expecting more than they would have if it was just Summer Camp. It'd be funny if this was happening to EA or Rockstar, but it's happening to a small company that's trying their best. I hope they pull it together, and I still plan on buying it when single player comes out.

I don't know if it's just that the servers are overhwelmed. The majority of people can't get past the title screen when they're signed into their PS4 or Xbox profiles, but it works if they switch to guest. And a lot of people are reporting that it's not working for them, but their sibling or roommate in the other room is playing just fine on the same internet. And the people who have been able to get online say that private matches are working fine, but no ones been able to do a quick play without waiting between 20 to 40 minutes.
I feel bad for them too but I'm not gonna pretend it isn't funny lol. People gave their hard earned money to them and financially supported this game themselves and now it's been delivered to them prematurely and they can't play it.
This is a goddamn mess.

Oh my God...
They actually sold the Beta version to Xbox players as the finalized game, while PS4 and PC got the actual completed game. This is the gift that keeps on giving lol.

So this game still isn't working, and they released a patch without testing it, and it messed up everyone's CP and XP that the game was working for.
I'm starting to think we're never going to get to play this lol.

I think they added him in an update, so someone you're playing as isn't shown being killed before the game even starts.

My brother bought and asked me to play it to help him level up. Anyways it takes a minute or two to get into a server and then another two and a half minutes of waiting because in order to play everyone has to check ready or wait the duration of the 2.5 minutes to start the game. The game play is easy enough to figure out and the map is realllllly big. I guess you can either coordinate as a team to try and escape or just go every man for himself (which is what I did). Anyways this bitch was able to escape unscathed. Someone called the police and there Jason was, waiting at the exit right in front of them. It was me, plus three other people and luckily he went for someone else so I ran around him, but as I was running I ran out of stamina right as I was about to reach the police and my heart was beating so fast, I was yelling, "RUN BITCH!" but I made it.
It was still really fun though. I'm debating if I'm gonna buy it though, because I kinda wanna try out Dead by Daylight which is the same concept except it looks like you get your choice of villain, between slasher or something supernatural. I think though if a lot of your friends have this game, it'd be fun. That way you can coordinate through the party chat.
