Am I still the only one here who likes Baron? Yep. While I know we all get a chuckle out of stereotypical wrestling fans, I think it's kinda just mean and shitty to make fun of anyone's appearance to their face. EDIT: Hmm, that guy is a Juggalo though, so now I'm torn. But either way Baron doesn't have room to talk.

I don't know what he said, but after reading his self-description I assume he deserved it.

Is this some kinda last ditch effort to impress Triple H and Stephanie?

How long has he been attempting stand-up now, and his delivery is still god awful. Even if he has a funny joke, he says it horrible and ruins it. Probably why he always came off funnier on twitter. The material was okay but the delivery in our heads was better.
This was all just hot garbage though. Who keeps putting him in front of a camera in his shitty suit jackets?

It looks like Jeremy Borash was not a fan of Josh Mathews’ recent comments on a YouTube video where Mathews referred to himself as the best announcer in the wrestling business. The video (scroll down to watch) features an interview with Mathews where he talks about leaving WWE and joining Impact Wrestling. I should note that Mathews’ job title, according to his twitter bio, is Senior Director, Digital Media Affairs so the video may have been posted by Mathews himself.
“I make no bones about it that I’m the best play-by-play announcer in the world. There’s nobody that can touch what I do out there,” said Mathews in the YouTube video. He also talked about how his storytelling helps get guys like EC3, The Hardys, and Cody Rhodes to the next level. Those comments did not sit well with many fans on social media and Josh’s reaction on Twitter prompted a response from Borash. The announcing on Impact Wrestling has been widely criticized by fans since Mathews took over for Mike Tenay. Mathews’ reputation has taken a hit in recent years for his announcing style and comments on social media directed at people like Jim Ross and TJ Perkins. This back-and-forth with Borash is certainly not doing him any favors.
Most of the tweets have been deleted but you can read the exchange below:
The twitter exchange started after Mathews said, “Seems like “My First Day” caused quite the reaction! Obviously, we are all entitled to our opinions & that makes what we do so great!”
Borash responded: “No one will ever question your credibility after the “I believe I am the greatest play by play announcer in the world,” quote. Good for you.”
Mathews: “Go fly your drone.”
Borash: “I will. The difference between you and that drone? One is a super over personality on a wrestling show… and the other is an announcer.”
Mathews: “Don’t worry @jeremyborash after WWE, ROH, Lucha, NJPW, NOAH & any other company fires like 10 announcers, you’ll get your chance! 🖕”
Mathews said this after someone pointed out that Borash has worked with TNA since day 1: “Yeah, a Ring Announcer. Anyone can do that. Have you seen the people that used to work here?!?”
I feel like Josh Mathews is by far the cuntiest person in wrestling right now.

He comes across so terribly. I liked Josh from Tough Enough through to about 2007. Then it just took a dive. The pairing with Cole was insufferable when they'd just laugh and make bad jokes about the wrestlers. He'd always patronise Scott Stanford on Superstars too, who seemed far more knowledgeable and professional. And the little I've seen of him in TNA has been worse.

I've only heard him in TNA a couple times, and he did that annoying thing Vince used to do where his voice would change completely when going higher like he's running out of breath so he talks like John Laurinaitis. And he thinks he's the best.... Makes Michael Cole sound like Gorilla Monsoon.

OMG that's the other thing. He has a high voice and always had but when I watched TNA he was forcing this low, deep voice that was so clearly put on.
Own your flaws Josh.

Road Warrior Animal posted the following on his Facebook page in response to A Tribe Called Quest’s performance at The Grammy Awards last night.
“Once again Rappers ruin the Grammys with that stupid song with words like resist and no one can tell you what to do. Having people of color Muslim and Mexican come on stage, are you that stupid and can not see that where all the drugs are coming from the southern borders or all the Radical Islamic that promote death to America? Really well legends it’s your relative using those drugs ir getting killed by terrorists then you will get it. Insulting performance!” People so mad tho..... good.
