I felt so bad for Hester when the Radwell's were saying all those awful things to her during Pictionary. Chanel #3 is my favorite in this show. I really need her to be one of the few who survive.

The opening to this show is definitely one of my favorites.

lol, Chanel #3 isn't the Red Devil. Not after that scene where she and Boone ran into one another and he had to pretend to be a ghost so she wouldn't blow his cover. Apparently they've filmed three different endings, and unfortunately one of them was spoiled for me on tumblr... Unless there's more to it or they somehow get proven innocent by the end of the episode, one of the endings has all three Chanels being sent to prison.

Wait, I didn't catch this during the Ghost Stories episode.

When #5 tried to fit through the locked mall exit and Chanel just huffed and said, "Oh, as if." Poor Abigail. Honestly as dumb as the characters have been written all season it almost took me out of the show last night that they would have Chanel confront the killer without a weapon, or a plan... or even trying to hide. Like, why would she just walk right up to him only to start to turn away when he raises the crossbow she already knew he had? Having said that, when DENISE HEMPHILL ran in and made the save I almost lost my fucking life. I'd honestly forgotten all about Niecy, but once again she stole the scene. When she tried to twirl the gun and almost dropped it. And then later in the episode when they were talking about all the people the Red Devil has killed and Chanel tried to subtly throw Ms. Bean's name in along with the others only for Zayday to remind her that she killed Ms. Bean. "I didn't turn on the deep fryer, bitch!" Her trying to wash her hands of killing Ms. Bean is my favorite running joke of the season tbh.

The music playing during Chanel and Dean Munsch's confrontation at the end was really creepy and unsettling. That's the most horrory the show has felt to me.
For my final guess as to who the killer is I'm gonna say Grace. I don't trust her. And I think the Pete thing is a red herring and he'll be admitting to something unrelated to the real Red Devil killer.

That almost ruined the whole season for me. So if we even get a next season there wont be any Chanels, and it'll star Grace and Zayday. ( Emma's rumored to be returning as a main cast member for the next season of AHS, and Abigail already has a new job, so it doesn't look like they're planning on returning.) Just keep it, Ryan. The theory that I read a while back was that Chanel was the other bathtub baby but she wasn't in on the killings. She was adopted from the asylum when she was a baby and then when Grace found out her dad lied about her mom and fathered Chanel, she became the third Red Devil. It would have ended in sister vs. sister with everyone but the Chanels and Zayday dying in the process, and then getting arrested anyways for withholding evidence, and then being sentenced to community service where the camp counselors theme would have come into play. There was a lot more detail to it but it all made perfect sense which is why I was convinced that Grace was the killer. I think that being better than the ending we did get is another reason it disappointed me. I mean, Hester was an obvious suspect from the beginning but it doesn't even make sense. She says she only killed Pete and Pete said he only killed Boone and the security guard. So who killed Gigi? And who was Pete talking to on the phone after Boone and Gigi had been killed and Hester was hiding in his closet? Honestly I believe Grace was supposed to be the killer but this was the alternate ending should the show be cancelled - which it probably will be. God, Ryan Murphy could fuck up a wet dream. I mean, the Dorkus episode was just as fantastic as all the others. Especially when Chanel and #3 were standing right in front of her and arguing over who she looked like more: Jason or Freddy Krueger. But the only silver lining to the finale was that the court and asylum scenes were hysterical. But then again those were the only scenes that featured the Chanels, so...

It really should've been Grace. I honestly do not understand how anyone would like Grace? She is undoubtedly the WORST character on the show. I'm really hoping this will get picked up for another season though, but only if they can get the Chanel's back. Billie Lourd is a national treasure and I need to see her reprise her #3 role for at least a few more seasons.

I honestly do not understand how anyone would like Grace? She is undoubtedly the WORST character on the show. The fact that Skyler Samuels survived Freak Show and Scream Queens and Emma can't even survive the show that was WRITTEN FOR HER without it being left open to interpretation.

This finale has more exposition than a Columbo episode.

Yeah, it was a crappy finale.
I don't mind Hester being the killer but it was revealed in such a boring, drawn-out way.
If there's another season then Chanel better have survived. Although I'm not really that bothered if there's a season two or not. If there is though then I hope it's like a Scream 2 meets Silence of the Lambs type deal and the Chanels, from jail, help Grace and Zayday prove that Hester was the killer. Then when Hester is in jail and the Chanels are back out the killings begin again and we have to guess who the copycat killer is for the rest of the season.

The finale could have been so exciting with a chase scene, the Red Devil picking people off back to back like the climax of any good horror movie, an unmasking, etc. Just... so so boring and something that seems like it was only done to appease Lea Michele, who did an interview with E! about how she insisted on getting away with it and living so that next season when a new killer starts up Grace and Zayday look at her and she says, "I promise it's not me this time, guys." The finale being written around a one-liner that she pitched...
