Has your favorite wrestler ever hung you out to dry and made you look like a fool for stanning them? Let's talk about it. I can honestly say that none of my ride or dies are, and if any of them were I've long cut them loose. Well I guess there was Taryn but we never learned the full story there. And even though I only used him aesthetically, Corey Graves' LiveJournal did ruin him a bit. And I wouldn't formally call her a fave but I do pretend to stan for Rosa every once in a while and she had those DUIs, plus Michael Hayes. I'm sure Burke, Tarry, MC and Jayzero will have lots to talk about in this thread though.

I just remembered the time I had to unfollow Jillian Hall on Twitter on election night because she was pulling for Mitt Romney.

HHH was supposedly the person who suggested to Vince/HBK that they should screw Bret Hart in Montreal. He told John Cena he sucked after main eventing WrestleMania with him. He fired CM Punk on his wedding day. He's beyond problematic. Still love him though.
I was never really a fan of Stone Cold until he turned heel in 2001 but once he did I found him hilarious and he was definitely in my fave five for a while. Once the story about him beating the crap out of Debra came out I was done with him though.

Oh, and how did I forget Shawn Michaels. He wrote the book on problematic wrestlers.

You're thirsty for controversy tonight. And lucky this thread is just about wrestlers and not all celebrities otherwise Tarry would have to drop a 1500 word essay on us.

This seems unfair since I like people more after I find out that they're problematic. For example: He even goes in on Spongebob.

Magnus convinced TNA officials to release Doug Williams and deny Marty Scurll (Magnus' real life best friend) a contract, just because they're British and being British is "his thing." Spud won British Bootcamp because he's a gimmick wrestler, The Blossoms got contracts because they're women, and Rob Terry kept his job because he's Welsh. The hiring of Charlotte's husband reversed Magnus' lone Brit status though, thankfully.
