Then I remembered she doesn't even wrestle anymore and with the Cena split her name became more valuable and she could have easily went for someone more high profile or powerful. She could be out here reluctantly banging Hollywood execs or a congress person. I had more faith in her than this. |

I never thought she was with him for the money. I thought she was with him to lend power to her name and help her get more mainstream exposure. No way will you convince me she was with him only for him, because he's wholly unappealing. I respect her hustle. There's nothing wrong with beneficial relationships. She no longer has any use for him to bring interest into her reality show and she has multiple businesses because of the boost in name recognition. Her and Brie have built a nice little empire and it's impressive.
He used her just as much pretending he had a healthy adult relationship and isn't low-key a serial killer. That and she brought him additional viewers that he wouldn't have had otherwise.
