According to prowrestlingsheet.com, Nikki Bella is currently doing physical rehab and trying to aviod surgery for the bulging discs in her neck. The discs are currently pushing on her spinal cord, and there is also extra fluid in her central nervous system. Word is that she was pulled from the road because another bump could have paralyzed her. At this time she is hoping that doing the rehab (sometimes up to eight sessions a day) will be enough to heal the injury. There is no timetable for her return.

I've never heard of that site so hopefully they have no clue what's actually going on and the injury isn't that serious.

I hope Nikki is a babyface when she returns.

Her heel turn last year was great and all and led to her long title reign but she was just starting to build momentum and sell a lot of merchandise as a face at the time. There are too many heels and not enough babyfaces in the Divas division right now anyway.

As good as her heel run was (apart from WWE booking her to lose like 80% of her matches) she was really catching on as the underdog babyface before then. And Becky seems to be the only face on the roster currently so yeah hopefully Nikki does return as a babyface.

Nikki might miss WrestleMania.

WWE Diva Nikki Bella is months away from returning to the ring, Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned — and we’re told she may have hit her last “Rack Attack,” because docs say it caused the injury.

Sources close to Nikki tell us the former Divas Champion went to see a neurologist Tuesday following her appearance on RAW and doctors said the bulging discs in her neck haven’t gone down.

We’re told she’s been instructed to continue rehab for 7 more weeks before getting another MRI — and if no progress has been made, Nikki will be forced to discuss surgery options.

Our sources tell us the cause of Nikki Bella’s injury was her repeated use of “The Rack Attack” finisher, and the neurologist was shocked to learn she had been doing it 5 nights a week. As of now, doctors say she may have to stop using the move upon her return.
