The dailymail one is especially sensationalistic.
I hope they don't just can the angle to pacify a few people. Rather just stop with the Putin references and flags and concentrate on being anti-American as opposed to pro-Russian.

WWE issued the following statement on Lana's promo at WWE Battleground:
"Last night's segment during WWE's Battleground event was in no way referring to the Malaysia Airlines tragedy. The storyline with characters Rusev and Lana has been a part of WWE programming for more than 3 months. WWE apologizes to anyone who misunderstood last night's segment and was offended."
Why are they acting like everybody is an idiot, it was clearly a reference to the Malaysia Airlines incident, because if it was referring to the other events, then they would have mentioned them some time in the 3 months this has been going on, instead of right after the recent events. |

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I watched Battleground with the sound down last night (it was high enough to hear bumps and promos, but quiet enough to not hear the announce team) and it was so much better. I think that's why I had a better time watching the show, because I didn't have to put up with those three goons shitting on everybody in the ring.
