2014 MTV VMA's

[Burke]

Considering she put out a video for every track on her Essential self-titled album, it's no surprise that Beyoncé is poised to rule the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. That's not to say she doesn't deserve the eight nods she received this morning — the clips were pretty fantastic, especially the steamy one for "Drunk in Love," which is up for Video of the Year. Bey also received nominations for the strip-club-set "Partition," which won't make Bill O'Reilly happy, and the self-affirming "Pretty Hurts."

The nominees, which were announced via Snapchat earlier today, are then led by Iggy Azalea and Eminem, with seven apiece. Azalea's up for her breakthrough, Clueless-remaking "Fancy," while Em could take home some moonman statues for "Rap God," "Berzerk," and his Rihanna collaboration, "The Monster." Other multiple nominees include Pharrell, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, and Sia.

The 2014 VMAs will take place August 24 at 9 p.m. ET from the Forum in Inglewood, California. The full nomination list is below.

- 'Anaconda' Dancer Bitten by Snake During VMA Rehearsals

During rehearsals for Nicki Minaj's upcoming VMA performance of new single, "Anaconda," a backup dancer was bitten by a 6-foot snake after she startled the reptile on stage, according to a report by TMZ.

The dancer, whose name is unknown, is being treated at a local hospital in Los Angeles.

The snake, according to the L.A. Fire Department, was a boa constrictor.

It's unknown whether the snake will still be featured in Minaj's performance on Sunday.

The ghost of Britney's I'm a Slave 4 U performance wasn't having it.

Anyways, Katy and Miley had their lil spat a while back when Miley tried to French kiss ha, and Rita Ora is the reason Rob Kardashian got fat and MTV sat her next to Kim. They're so shady.

Taylor and Gwen are in the front row, so people are expecting a surprise album from Gwen soon since it'd be so random for her to be sitting in the front row otherwise.

Also, you can't tell in the pics Burke posted but Kelly and Michelle are a couple of seats behind Taylor and Gwen, so they'll probably be involved in Beyoncé's performance, or to present her Video Vanguard Award.

We here at lovebscott.com just got word exclusively that Beyoncé is planning to perform her ENTIRE visual album with a show-stopping 15-minute set during this Sunday's show.

Has anyone ever done an entire-album medley? According to MTV Exec Amy Doyle — nope.

"Beyoncé's performance is very ambitious," she said. I don't think anyone's tried this before. We're expecting this to go down in VMAs history."

Suge Knight Shot Multiple Times After VMA Party Turns Violent





Shots rang out at 1OAK nightclub in West Hollywood at around 1:30 AM Sunday ... and Suge Knight was shot twice and taken to the hospital by ambulance where he was rushed into surgery ... eyewitnesses and Suge's family tell TMZ.

A source close to Suge tells us ... he was shot in the stomach and arm and apparently in other places as well.

Tyson Beckford, Robert Ri'chard and Apple de Ap all tell TMZ ... they were inside the pre-VMA party hosted by Chris Brown when they heard 4 shots ring out inside the club.

Suge walked out on his own power ... a cop spotted him and walked the rap mogul to the police car where Suge sat. Suge was then put in an ambulance and taken to a local hospital.

We do not know the seriousness of Suge's injuries. Multiple sources now tell us Suge was one of 3 people who were shot. At least 1 is in critical condition. Sheriff's deputies had guns drawn as clubgoers exited with their hands in the air right after the shooting.

The night started with tension. An hour-and-a-half before the shots, Game came to the club and he and his buddies got into an altercation with security guards ... there was a full-on fight. Game tried to get in was denied and left, but his buddies stayed behind. We do not know if they were involved in the altercation.

MTV wanted to make it clear ... it wasn't their party ... it was Chris Brown's.

UPDATE -- Suge is out of surgery … according to family sources. We're told Suge was shot 6 times. He's currently in ICU, but is expected to recover.
