I don't think it's bad character development though. Evil people aren't evil all the time. Just because he's been nice to Brienne lately doesn't mean he's not still the same awful person, especially when it comes to all the messed up shit with him and Cersei. He tried to kill an innocent child in the very first episode. There's no redeeming yourself after that. We knew he was a monster from the very start. The relationship with Cersei, whilst twisted and wrong, isn't exactly evil though. And he tried to kill Bran to protect his relationship with Cersei, and to ensure that it remains a secret, well to ensure that it becomes nothing more than the rumour that it's accepted as. It doesn't make attempting to kill him right, but he had a reason to do so. I'm sure you remember, last season Jaime saved Brienne from being raped, so he knows that it's wrong. I mean, he could have had Brienne raped and killed, and he would have been free of her, but he doesn't want to see anyone go through that. The fact that he then goes and rapes Cersei for no reason at all goes against everything we know about Jaime, he does bad things for a reason, he doesn't do them randomly. Cersei consents during the act in the book, it doesn't make it acceptable, but I think it'd still be easy to get behind Jaime's road to redemption that he seemed to be on if that happened in the show. This is Spike attempting to rape Buffy all over again. I'm just really disappointed, because Jaime was my favourite character for the majority of season 3. I still love the show, of course, and I'm definitely looking forward to next week.

You checked 19 out of 60 on the Game of Thrones List! You would have died at the Purple Wedding! You made it far, and even got to wear the crown on your head for a bit, but life in the Seven Kingdoms is dangerous. At least you went out on top!

Amazing Game of Thrones interactive map: quartermaester.info/You can click certain characters names on the side to show their paths, and even set it to a time frame so you can avoid spoilers.

That ending was creepy. Every episode this season has been pretty great. I figured Olenna had something to do with Joffrey's death. I hadn't even considered Littlefinger also being involved though. I forgot all about him.

The cast is so damn big. There's like a dozen storylines going right now. I love all the stuff with Margaery, Tyrion, Daenerys, Arya, Jaime, Cersai, Jon, Melisandre, the White Walkers, etc. The only main storyline/character I'm not feeling is Bran. I don't have time for him and his psychic shit. Tommen is the luckiest mother fucker on the show rn He's going to be king though so if this shows history is anything to go by things aren't going to end well for him.

The only main storyline/character I'm not feeling is Bran. I don't have time for him and his psychic shit. I almost wrote the exact same thing earlier today, but then his storyline finally got somewhat interesting now that he's being held by Burn Gorman's character (I still don't know his name, oops). Seriously though, I think he's one of the scariest characters right now, he's absolutely vile.

Karl Tanner really was terrifying. His death scene was amazing though!

Oh my God, why did no one tell me that Telltale are making a Game of Thrones game? This should be amazing.

I really hate tumblr for this very reason. I started this show and I'm already well aware whose going to die. When I told myself I was gonna binge watch, I was worried because I thought there were gonna be long seasons, but that's not the case. Which is good and bad. I'll be able to catch up relatively soon (thank you HBOGO), but it'll suck when I get caught up.
I already love Jon Snow and Arya (and Daenerys is a given, but I'm only on the fourth episode in the first season so she hasn't done much yet).

and Daenerys is a given, but I'm only on the fourth episode in the first season so she hasn't done much yet She hits her stride in episode 6. You're almost to the point where you won't be able to turn it off and will be caught up before the next episode. The first season started really slow when I went back and watched all the seasons with my mom.

The stuff with Theon/Reek and Ramsay is so creepy, I'm finally starting to love it.
Tyrion's speech at the end and the demanding of a trial by combat was amazing, he's my favourite character again, lol.
