I actually really liked her performance. Her mash-up of God Bless America and This Land is Your Land have me chills. Not that I'm surprised she included it, but I'm glad she kept the crucial parts of Born This Way. It just gave me a sense of pride that I seemed to have forgotten.

The Roar singer was being interview by E! host Ryan Seacrest ahead of the Grammy Awards on Sunday when he asked about her break from the spotlight.
"There was a pause in the music for a little while," Ryan said.
"Yeah that's called taking care of your mental health," Katy replied.
When he asked how that went, she joked: "Fantastic! And I haven't shaved my head yet."
Ryan then changed the subject, but Katy also made the reference during another interview with CBS.
And following her comments, one angry fan wrote on Twitter: "OK FINE I turned on the Grammys and Katy Perry was making a snide 'Britney breakdown head-shaving' reference & I'm not down with that.
Another said: "I just lost all my respect for Katy Perry, well the little respect I did have for her."
A #KatyPerryIsOver hashtag also popped up, much like the one her fans created for Taylor Swift last year.
Source Yikes. "For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Taylor reflected. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"
