Lmao, the press conference just started the EXACT same way the WrestleMania one did with the Funkadactyls and Tons of Funk coming out dancing while the non-wrestling media people in the audience are completely dumbfounded.
HHH: "I am so looking forward to seeing Alberto Del Rio defend the World title against Christian." God bless him for being able to say that with a straight face. I like both guys and even I don't want to see that match.

The “Extra” TV host, who already has a WWE victory at WrestleMania XXVIII, will team with Natalya to take on Brie Bella and a partner of her choosing this Sunday, just prior to WWE’s summer classic.
The match was announced by Raw General Manager Brad Maddox via Twitter, several days after Nikki & Brie began trash talking their “Total Divas” costar, Natalya, and Menounos on Twitter, which prompted the in-ring encounter at SummerSlam Axxess.

Natalya’s invite for Menounos to come to SummerSlam as her guest initiated more mockery on the part of The Bella Twins, which, of course, led to an official challenge of a tag team match. The Bellas' acceptance didn’t exactly have Natalya shaking in her Louboutins, if the below tweet is to be believed.
If @nicoleandbri are so tough, Maybe they would like to tango with myself and @mariamenounos if Nikki is cleared. A #Total Diva has spoken!
The time for talking (and tweeting) is now over, and if Nikki isn't cleared to compete, Brie must find a tag team partner to face Menounos and her friend, former Divas Champion Natalya, at Axxess. Who will step forward to compete alongside the twin Diva? How will the SummerSlam Axxess match affect Natalya and Brie before their one-on-one bout at SummerSlam this Sunday?I thought the Natalya/Brie match being announced meant that the Maria tag match wasn’t happening. Weird that they’ll be wrestling twice on Sunday.

I think they're trying to recreate the main event from two years ago.
Cena = Cena
Punk = Bryan
HHH = HHH
Del Rio = Orton
The only question is, who's the Kevin Nash in this scenario? My money's on Mick Foley randomly waddling on down to the ring and costing Bryan the match because he's mad at him stealing his homeless man look.

Cody vs. Damien should be good. Triple H refereeing is stupid and is just a distraction from what could potential be a really memorable match.

The SummerSlam kick-off party was last night and was attended by Superstars/Divas past and present as well as random celebrities (why would Piers Morgan ever be at a WWE event though??). |
