I'm almost finished with The Flash and it's been kind of hard to get invested. But I really hated that timeline switch thing they did where Barry goes back in time and alters the timeline, stopping the tsunami. Okay I'm gonna be 100 percent honest, I'm not a fan of Cisco. I don't hate him, but I definitely don't love him either. Caitlyn has kind of grown on me. But I think that's more or less because she's destined to become Killer Frost (hopefully). But I absolutely cannot stand Iris. Like first she gets mad at Barry for dating other girls, even though she's got herself a boyfriend. Then she goes out of her way to sabotage his relationship with Linda (?), which further irritated me because I love Malese Jow and I've been wanting to watch her on some kind of show consistently since she was on Vampire Diaries.
I think I was just thrown off because I came from watching Arrow, to this. And they have to different vibes to the show, so it's not a fair comparison. I don't think The Flash is bad by any means though. It's just my favorite thing about Arrow, specifically the second season and onward, is the way they write their female leads. I'm hoping the further I get into the show it'll change. But I mean at least The Flash incorporated gay men, and even one as a villain so that was pretty cool.

Ugh I lied, Cisco is growing on me. Ray and Felicity just showed up in this episode and I LOVE Ray. I know nothing about the Atom aside from what I've seen on Arrow, but I'm hoping he'll shine on Legends of Tomorrow as much as he has been on Arrow/Flash.

Ugh the fight scene in Dahrk's compound was bad ass. Laurel is really coming into her own as the Black Canary, every time she does the Canary Cry I get chills.

When Laurel's canary cry shattered the glass. When Felicity started beating that guy with a pipe.

I'm never going to listen to Little Drummer Boy in the same way ever again.

Ugh just tell us whose in the grave already. I was so sure it was gonna be Quentin, but after tonight I'm not so sure. Please don't be Laurel.

Legends of Tomorrow was alright. The White Canary, Hawkgirl, and Hawkman were definitely the highlight for me. I think the biggest issue with this show though is that the cast is too big. I think you could definitely trim some of the fat, like Heatwave doesn't seem necessary and I could honestly do without Victor Garber, but he's essential to Firestorm I guess. Also I thought Rip Hunter was annoying (I understand he's there for a reason, but still).
If this does well and gets a second season I'm hoping they'll get rid of a few of the characters. Or just give me a White Canary and Hawkgirl show. That would be pretty great.

I caught it in time to record from the beginning last night, but I still haven't watched The Flash (and I don't want to). Will I be too lost?

I think as long as you've seen both of the crossovers with Hawkgirl/man you're good. Plus the Sara/Laurel scenes in it are really sweet.

The flashback scenes have felt pointless since the end of the Slade Wilson storyline. They've been especially tedious this season.

Tonight's episode of the Flash was hands down my favorite episode since this show started. Everyone's Earth 2 counter parts were awesome. But Killer Frost stole the show for me. She was such a bad bitch. This was so cool. Obviously we knew that it was happening, but I wasn't expecting her to have a cameo appearance in the show itself, I figured it was gonna be strictly on CBS. I'm so excited for their crossover now.

Even though Laurel has been shoved into the background, she still sticks out. Just all the fighting she's doing on the side, her interactions with Nyssa, reasoning with Oliver. Tonight's episode was great and it made me realize that this is probably my favorite show that is currently on. I'm kind of salty about Nyssa disbanding the league though. I wanted her to be the demon head. But I did love that she summoned Oliver and Laurel like they were co captains/equals. Honestly I just love Nyssa. She's such a bad ass, can't I just get a show with her, Laurel, and Felicity? *impatiently waits for Laurel to get a story line*

Oh, Vixen was fucking awesome. So we got Legends of Tomorrow instead of her getting her own show, like she literally got stuck with some two minute animated series on the CW.com. That's such a bummer. Also I felt bad for Laurel in this episode, once again Oliver is causing problems for everyone. But the team dynamic in Arrow is probably one of my favorites. Still hoping it'll be Quentin that gets the boot.

Legends of Tomorrow is really hit or miss. But I think that's a general notion for shows that have an ensemble cast. I've also learned that Ray Palmer is absolutely annoying without Felicity or any of the Arrow cast to reign him in. But Rip Hunter is the absolute worst on this show. I think aside from Sara and Captain Cold, there's no one really worth watching the show for. Which is sad because I was rooting for Hawkgirl and Hawkman. But as the shows gone on, it's focused primarily on Sara and Captain Cold, which again I think says something about how great their characters are in general.
The Star City 2046 episode was great, but the scenes that didn't involve Sara or CC really took away from it. But Sara's interaction with Old Man Oliver was great, I really wish there was more and I forgot how great they are as a pair. Connor Hawke was pretty awesome too. I loved his origin. I wish there was a way they could just base the story around Star City's post apocalyptic future. But I think at the same time it's great foreshadowing for Arrow if they ever go through with the 'Uprising' story line, especially because the way Oliver talked about it, he made it sound like having Sara (and Ray I guess) around would've been a difference maker.
If this show gets picked up for a second season, I hope it drops the time travel stuff in general. Or just give me a show with Nyssa, Vixen, and Sara. I really need more Sara/Nyssa though.
