I almost changed my mind when I saw that Goldberg was in it but now I've decided not to bother with this.

I want GTA V to remain the last PS3 game that I ever bought. I'll definitely be getting WWE 2K15 next year though. By then it'll have been 2 years since I've played a wrestling so hopefully that novelty factor will make me enjoy it more.

I have yet to play a match. Fucked around with the creation suite. First impressions after turning the game on: I really hate the color red

Pro: Brought back the ability to skip entrance music - Con: But only in the main menu, so you're fucked when 3MB's song comes on anywhere else.
Another con: Every menu is diagonal and it makes me dizzy



Anywho, review of the creation suite:


SUPERSTAR: Insanely annoying red background that hurts my eyes after a while. Other than that, completely untouched. Not a single new shirt or hairstyle was added. Twitter handle thing is pretty much a slap in the face.

SUPERSTAR FACES: Fun idea, until I realized that you in fact can NOT make it an alternate attire for the superstar who's face you use. So THQ/2K straight up lied about that. Which also makes this new feature, almost completely pointless. Can't fuck with their faces/hair or even put glasses or hats on them, but everything else is completely customizable, including body size.

SUPERSTAR THREADS: Added ability to customize entrance attire so it matches ring gear.

ENTRANCE: You can now choose mini-trons and titantrons seperately which is very nice. They finally named every motion so no more "Superstar 1, Superstar 2, Diva 1, Tag 1" crap. Maryse is "French Beauty" ect. Let's you turn off lights and parts of the stage for ability to make pitch black entrances. (Undertaker, Wyatt's, ect)
TEAM ENTRANCE: You can finally pick which superstars do what motions instead of it going based on their position in the group.

MOVE-SET: Untouched except they named pre-made movesets the same as the entrance motions, and of course added new moves. Nothing noticeably removed from the move list. Quite a few moves have new animations (RKO, AA and others)

SPECIAL MOVE: Untouched (Unless the corner finishers are new? I never really pay attention to this mode)

STORY: Untouched

ARENA: Same as last year with every stage returning plus new ones including Wrestlemania stages and very large arenas. No major changes, just more to work with. I'm sensing they're going to have a WrestleMania XXX stage contest at some point cause they give you everything you need to make it, including about 20 variations of the XXX logo.

CHAMPIONSHIP: Mix of what they had last year where you can edit the current belts, and they brought back the ability to create a custom belt from scratch. Choosing the main plate and throwing as many designs on it as you want. You can even put superstars pictures on them, which I will be doing at some point for a laugh with Cena or Ziggler or someone and have them never lose it.


OVERALL REVIEW: Thumbs Down for the creation suite this year. Aside from Superstar faces and the create-a-belt from SvR08, it's exactly the same as WWE '13 but uglier.


Hopefully my Universe and WrestleMania mode reviews will be more positive

I just barely played my first match, Kaitlyn vs AJ in the NXT Arena. The fighting is a bit faster like the earlier years of the games. A lot of popping around quicker, less time spent on the mat. Of course I just did a quick squash match so it might slow down as the match goes on.

I had Cody and Dolph in our respective corners, and they came out wearing their entrance attires too which was a nice touch. They still haven't figured out how (or probably even tried) to make the manager walk out with the superstar instead of just standing around awkwardly and clapping.

Dolph got ejected as soon as he put his hands on me. Not sure if that's a new thing cause the ref seen him, or if that was because he was a guy attacking a girl and it was a less annoying way of dealing with that instead of a DQ.

The NXT arena actually felt like (a slightly bigger) NXT arena rather than a Raw arena with the NXT stage.

Also, not sure if it's an Xbox/PS3 difference or a 13/14 difference, but I need to get used to R2 being the run button. Kept fucking me up.

Overall, the fighting is pretty much the same, just a little faster and feels more choppy. Still fun tho, and I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Universe mode is whatever. Same as last year with a more confusing menu. It's nice being able to create your own rivalries this time tho so I'm not constantly in the midst of the Santino vs Titus O'Neil epic that lasts for 3 months.

The Streak Mode: Fuck this cheatin ass mother fuckin bitch ass piece of shit cock sucking son of a cunt bastard...

I whooped his ass, 3 damn times. And lost. Now I know how Triple H feels. I will definitely feel a great sense of accomplishment when I finally get this trophy.

The WrestleMania XXX arena is frikin ginormous, as lame as the stage is, and it's outdoors (so is 29's arena. None of the others besides 9 tho) Which is hilarious, cause, Superdome, but whatever.

Defending the streak is fun because I always liked the Slobberknocker match, and I always played as Undertaker anyway cause his taunts were shortest (Key word: WERE) So it's a good thing to have back.
My final score after 1 playthrough was 84,240. I beat 48 opponents over 0:58:11. So close to lasting 1 hour and hitting 50. It's like starting the Royal Rumble at number 1 and being eliminated by number 30.

Simple mode, but I like it. Funny, cause I'm not the biggest Undertaker fan in the world. At least this game finally has something to set it apart from WWE '13

WrestleMania mode is fun. They add a grainy effect to the old matches to make them look old. It's just like Attitude Era mode last year, but instead of random tag matches from Raw it's classic WrestleMania matches and moments. (except for 25. Idk who the hell decided to put Orton vs HHH ove Taker vs HBK but they should be shot) You just play the match, and complete bonus objectives throughout to unlock stuff.

Final thoughts: Basically the game is the exact same game as WWE '13 with a few improvements and classic legends instead of Attitude Era guys. So it's basically just an updated (and in some cases outdated) roster. But I have Kaitlyn, Shield and PTP (and soon Fandango and Summer Rae) so I'm happy with the game. I liked last year's, and it's more or less the same game, just with a roster that's more relevant to my tastes.

Hopefully 2K shakes things up next year when they move to next gen consoles and have enough time to actually make any major changes. And please. Fire Corey Ladesma.

I swear to god, fucking Undertaker. I somehow managed to beat him once with Diesel, by taking him to town with a steel chair on the outside for a good 10 minutes and hitting like 5 Jacknifes on him. But other than that one time I've had nothing but bad luck. I've tried 3 times with Lesnar and twice with Retro Kane. Numerous F-5's, I go to pick him up, and he locks me in Hell's Gate to make me tap. With Kane, I beat him with the ring bell for well over 5 minutes, hit 2 Chokeslams and a Tombstone on the outside, then another in the ring along with another Tombstone. Lights go out, his ass is behind me with a finisher. I use my resiliency to kick out and build up another Tombstone, go to pin him, asshole grabs my throat from the floor, Chokeslam, Tombstone, end of story.

I hate him. So very very much. None of you know my pain. I'd probably resort to Cena at this point if the trophy wasn't to beat him with all his past victims. Step it up Kane, you big red idiot.
