As we posted last night, WWE had a panel discussion for the WWE 2K14 "30 Years of WrestleMania" roster reveal consisting of Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Mick Foley, Paul Heyman, Steve Austin and Ric Flair with Jim Ross hosting. JR was deeply sardonic in his witticisms and things got incredibly...honest. Among the highlights were Ric Flair going off on story tangents at the end, noting while discussing his WrestleMania VIII match that everyone else involved is gone and more. Jim Ross quipped at a couple of points that the event was "sponsored by Grey Goose," the vodka and toward the end Heyman stands up, walks over and rips up Ross' script because things have gone so far into left field.

PWInsider reports that WWE management was very displeased over how things went. Jim Ross posted the following to Twitter:

I haven't got to Flair's part yet but if JR wasn't drunk then that just makes all of his attempted jokes even more awkward.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm still getting this for Kaitlyn, Cameron, Naomi, PTP, Shield and Fandango. I'm just gonna turn the old people off.

Of course, that's only if those people are even in the game. I'll still be lost deep inside Los Santos when this comes out so they need to show me something of interest sooner than later.

They learned from last year and actually made everyone look how they looked in the actual match instead of just changing the color of their attire to try and match. Down to the tape on Cena's hand.

Following today's special WWE 2K14 livestream, here is some new information regarding the upcoming game's Universe Mode:

--New to the game's Universe Mode is the Rivalry Manager, which allows you to create rivalries with any characters (singles and tag teams). The rivalry can last as long or as short as you wish.

--Default attires can now be set for Superstars and Divas.

--King of the Ring tournaments can now be added to pay-per-views in Universe Mode. The tournaments will show up as the main event of a pay-per-view that it is added to.

--When creating a new show in Universe Mode, you can now make an "all-Diva" show if you wish, with the show's major championship being a title only Divas can hold.

--The NXT Championship will be a playable title in the game.

They're showing their create mode right now. They have a new thing called superstar heads in CAW mode. It's a stupid name tho cause it's actually their full bodies including tattoo's. Anyway, you basically choose someone in the game and you can change their attire freely then save them as a CAW. I love it cause it's one step closer to just being able to make your own alternate attires without having to use a create slot. Each superstar head comes with 5 pre-made templates for the lazy and uncreative.

The coolest thing about it, which I was hoping for when I heard about it, is there are heads (and full bodies and attires) for people not in the game. So far they've shown Paul Heyman and Roddy Piper.

But now, for the negatives, cause it's THQ. All I see on the menu is Jericho, Edge, Bryan, Punk, Cena, HBK, HHH, Undertaker, Orton, Piper & Heyman. I'm hoping this is just the demo mode and their are more in the actual game. But it's THQ. So that's it. I'm sure. No divas. At all. Good mode. Incomplete. Wait til next year when 2K has more influence and there are more head options available.

100 slots for create mode tho which is nice. I surprisingly ran out last year and it was really annoying.
