Really hope with THQ/Yukes nowhere to be found this is a different game than the last 6 which have all been exactly the same.

They're obviously going all out because they know this will be my first WWE game in a few years.
The Sting pre-order thing is bullshit though. He should be in the game from the start for everybody.

Thank God. The graphics seemed like they were going downhill for years. This one looks great so far though. The official roster reveal panel will be in Los Angeles the day before SummerSlam and will feature Hulk Hogan, Sting, John Cena, Steve Austin, Roman Reigns, Sheamus and Cesaro. It probably won't be as big of a trainwreck as last years though where Ric Flair appeared to turn up drunk and JR basically got fired over it. Also, with Sting being in LA for WWE on SS weekend expect rumours of him showing up at the show itself. IGN are going to be revealing details about the game all throughout August. I'm not sure but if the game wants to be more true to life then his shorts should be sagging and his Calvin Klein underwear should be showing.

Graphics are alot better than the PS2 level graphics Yukes/THQ were putting out.

Triple H vs Shawn Michaels (2002-2004) and John Cena vs CM Punk (2011-2013) are the two historic story modes this year replacing last year's 30 Years of WrestleMania and the Attitude Era mode before that.
The other story mode is career mode, where you take a CAW from NXT (featuring actual NXT superstars) to the main event of WrestleMania.
