Sony is revealing the "Playstation 4" today, which I have word from inside sources it may or may not be called. Just been announced that it's being released November 15 in North America and November 29 in Europe.
I haven't really been keeping up to date with it. I thought it was still like a year or so away from coming out.
I'm in no rush to get it. I'll get it eventually but definitely not this year.

I might get it sometime around next spring.
Btw, the comments section on IGN is really annoying with Microsoft/Sony fans arguing with each other. They're almost as bad as the people who comment on YouTube videos.

I'm definitely not buying it myself, but I can't decide if I should ask for it for Christmas this year or wait until next year when there's a catalog of games to choose from. Besides, there's still a few PS3 games I need to swoop up. What would I look like asking for a PS4 and some PS3 games?

I really hope you're able to play PS3 games on it.
If GTA V is as good as I'm hoping it'll be then I'll still be playing it next year like I played San Andreas and Vice City for years. I'm not keeping both consoles though. I haven't got the room or the patience for that shit. I'll be getting rid of my PS3 when I get the new one.
