I promised to do this a while ago and forgot. Better late than never, right?
Ever had anything happen to you that you thought was something...out of this world? Doesn’t have to be that you thought you saw a ghost or anything like that. Just anything that, as far as you know, was unexplainable.
I've had one weird experience, and heard a couple stories from people I know.
My ex-girlfriend was at a Christmas party or something like that with her family, and her niece, who was about 2/3 years old at the time, kept crying the whole time and saying things like "leave me alone”, “stop staring at me” etc, even though as far as anyone could tell, nothing was going on. Everybody just thought she was playing, being paranoid or whatever. A couple weeks later, they got back the photos they had taken that night, and in one of them, her niece was looking in the opposite direction from everyone else, and where she was looking, by the window, there was a black and white image of what looked like a really old women’s face. I saw the photo and can't think of any logical explanation of what it could have been. It definitely wasn’t one of those optical illusions where like random images can look like something else if you look at them a certain way, because the background of the window was clear white and there was nothing at all in front of it. I took a picture of the photograph with my phone and showed the pic to everyone I met for like the next year, haha. I swear to God, it is the creepiest fucking thing I have ever seen in my life. I’m still on speaking terms with her, so the next time I talk to her I’ll try and get a hold of the pic again and upload it so you can all be scared shitless like I was, lol.
My story is just so bizarre and random that it’s difficult to explain. You probably had to be there to appreciate just how creepy it was at the time. I’m guessing it was about 10 years ago. Me and my friend were sitting in the stairwell of my house. The buzzer went off downstairs at the entrance, so we walked down to see who it was, but there was nobody there. So, we went back upstairs. Then it went off again. Again, there was nobody there. Repeat this about 5-10 times. Every time we went down there was nobody there. We would hang around at the entrance way for a few minutes and it wouldn’t happen but then as soon as we went back upstairs, within seconds it would buzz again. So, we thought, alright, maybe it’s one of our friends doing it as a joke, pressing the button, then running away. So, the next time it happened we sprinted down within 10 seconds hoping to catch them, but still, no one was there. There was just open space outside with no other houses or anything near so there was nowhere for anyone to hide. It would have taken at least 30/45 seconds to get out of sight here. So who the fuck was pressing the buzzer?!?
Now, I know that sounds pretty tame, and if this alone had happened, we probably wouldn't have thought anything else of it. We would have just put it down to the buzzer being screwed up and it being a coincidence (albeit a very large and improbable one) that it kept going off at the exact time when we would be going back up the stairs…but the plot thickens, lol. We went and sat on the steps outside. It stopped buzzing. A few minutes later, two cars pulled up, coming from opposite directions, and stopped in the middle of the road right in line with each other, sat for a few seconds and then left in opposite directions from which they came. It wasn't really that late at the time, maybe about 11pm, but it must have been winter because it was pitch black outside and we couldn't really make out what was going on. Still, we assumed it must have just been two people who knew each other, happened to notice each other driving by, and stopped for a second to talk. But about every 2-3 mins for the next half hour or so, the exact same thing would happen. Two cars would speed in from opposite directions, stop exactly in line with each other in perfect symmetrical timing, sit for a few seconds, then drive off. It was like they were robotic. It must have happened about 10 times. Now this wasn't a busy area, normally it would be rare to see even a single car driving in this street after dark.
These two incidents happening on the same night made us think their was something really fucking weird happening. Possible explanations:
1. Very unlikely, but somebody selling drugs or something to someone and agreed to meet there in this secluded area to do their business. But why go to all that bother? There are much simpler ways to go about that. Plus, we were in plain sight, there was a spotlight on the entrance way where we were sitting, they would have seen us. And why did it happen about 10 different times? Was it the same two cars every time, or a bunch of different ones? Who knows. I’m getting my Inspector Clouseau on, lol.
2. Just to rule it out, no, we weren't drunk/high at the time. We were only like 11/12 years old at the time, haha.
3. ? ? ?
Like I said, I’m not saying any of this was anything “paranormal”. I’ve already provided possible explanations of what could have happened in each case. But it’s hard to explain, we just had this weird feeling that something very unusual was going on that night. Like there was a very uneasy atmosphere. I just wish I could go back in time and when those cars come, run out on the road, go right up to the window, and see what the fuck exactly was going on, lol. Instead, we just sat there and did nothing, like we were in a trance or something.
My Uncle also has many stories, but he freely admits that he was drunk at the time of these supposed “happenings”, so yeah…
