Yesterday, the media and blogs came together in orgasmic praise for Beyoncé's rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Some of the tone deaf listeners even compared Beyoncé's version to the best rendition of the National Anthem ever: sang by the late Whitney Houston.
Too bad Beyoncé lip-synced the whole thing.
"We don't know why Beyoncé decided to use prerecorded music," a spokesperson for the Marine Corps Band told The Washingtonian this morning. "All music [for inaugural ceremonies] is prerecorded as a matter of course, and that's something we've done for years and years. The Marine Band did perform live throughout the ceremony but we received last-minute word that Beyoncé wanted to use the recording."
No wonder President Obama seemed less than impressed.
Now, listen y'all. I can't say shit about lip-syncing with my faves. And even the legendary White Houston lip-synced her version of the National Anthem. But NAWT at the 57th annual Presidential Inauguration! Foreigners, catch these T's for yourself.

Not 2 weeks before the Superbowl Football fans are harsh. They might let her have it. Lest we forget Ashlee Simpson after SNL:

I thought about that, too. Wonder if they've already paid her that $50,000,000? To be fair though, this is Beyoncé we're talking about. She's beyond mortal rules.

I was going to say something, but that was before I realized she would murder me.

Beyonce = the Don Corleone of the pop world.
When Rihanna wants to seem badass she gets a new tattoo. When Lady Gaga wants to she wears a crazy outfit. Beyonce skips all that soft shit and has her enemies executed while they sleep.
