It looks awesome! I recognised so many scenes taken straight from the pages of the comic book!
I'm honestly surprised at how amazing Jim Carrey's portrayal of Colonel Stars and Stripes appears to be, because that's exactly how I've imagined him sounding.

@jimcarrey I did Kickass a month b4 Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence. My apologies to others involve with the film. I am not ashamed of it but recent events have caused a change in my heart. Completely understandable. His character dies in the comic book, so if the same happens in the movie, we won't have to deal with a major recast, lol.

I assume any money he has or will make off of the film will be given to a survivors group? Otherwise this all a bit useless as far as statements go. He's cool with profiting off a film he deems too violent to stand behind?
If he had a change of heart, that's fine, whatever, but name checking Sandy Hook is pretty low. Even if he refuses to do a press tour he just promoted the film by using a tragedy, whether that was his intent or not.
