As per usual I would like y'all to PM me your CURRENT top ten women in wrestling. 'Current' means that the women you vote for must have appeared at a wrestling event sometime over the course of the half-year. Unfortunately to the best of my knowledge this includes reigning champion Maryse Ouellet, as wrestling conventions do not suffice. Thus we bid farewell to a forum favourite, but she most definitely leaves us on a high, having won both the inaugural competition last Summer and its follow-up in the Winter time.



Stephanie McMahon is also excluded from this year's competition, having not made an on-screen or live event appearance since last year. Karen Jarrett is in a similar position. Kharma however is not, as she competed in the Royal Rumble match in January.

Again, I wish to receive your CURRENT TOP TEN WOMEN IN WRESTLING. Your first place female will score one hundred points, your second place ninety, your third place eighty and so on.

Change #1: Ties have been partly eradicated. In order to determine who has trumped who in the event of two or more women scoring the same amount of votes, I'm going to work out the mean of the points they received from individual voters and then add to the mean the number of voters supporting that woman to the power of 2.25. The woman with the highest number after this process will surpass her rival(s). This means that both strength of support from individuals and range of support is taken into account.

For example, two women have 110 points. This is how their scores are split up in accordance to the votes they received:

Woman #1: 40 + 10 + 20 + 40
Woman #2: 80 + 30

Woman #1's mean: 110/4 = 27.5
Woman #2's mean: 110/2 = 55

Woman #1's final number: 27.5 + (4 to the power of 2.25) = 27.5 + 22.63 = 50.13
Woman #2's final number: 55 + (2 to the power of 2.25) = 55 + 4.76 = 59.76

Thus, Woman #1 is victorious and places ahead of Woman #2.

If the tie persists, as is likely to the be the case at the bottom of the list, then I shall look at previous lists. If one of the women in question has placed before she will place ahead of her rival, as COUNTDOWN LONGEVITY is rewarded here in Melbourne. If both women placed then the mean of her placings in the past will be added to the mean of their points received this season combined with the amount of votes received to the power of 2.25.

If a tie CONTINUES to persist, then it will be published as thus.
