If Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe had a bit too much Mortal Kombat in it for your taste, Injustice: Gods Among us might be up your alley. Warner Bros. Interactive announced the fighting game from Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios today. A press release described it as "a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others."
The game deals with what would happen if Earth's greatest heroes turned against us and then beat the hell out of each other. Injustice: Gods Among Us is set for a 2013 release, but look for a preview of the game here on IGN next week at E3. hmm, I'm intrigued

I hope whoever the alleged gay superhero is makes the game.

Do you mean such a thing as the game, or too much Mortal Kombat? If the former, yes, and it was awesome. If the latter, no, don't be silly. They were obviously being sarcastic.

If the former, yes, and it was awesome. I have it, the story mode(s) were brilliant, the freeplay however, was not. If the latter, no, don't be silly. They were obviously being sarcastic. I sure hope so. I'd hate to think that there's somebody out there that genuinely believes that there's such a thing as too much Mortal Kombat.

I'm not gonna judge yet cause it doesn't come out for a year and they're still making it.

I'm not gonna judge yet cause it doesn't come out for a year and they're still making it. Your first thought was, "That's just Mortal Kombat with DC characters," right? Because that was mine. I'm willing to give this a chance nearer to the time.

I played the demo for this. It was probably the worst fighting game I've ever played. Sucks cause it was a really good idea and the graphics are nice.

The controls are exactly the same as Mortal Kombat btw.

They are not. It's the same basic setup, but it felt like a flash player game to me. The controls were too choppy for my taste.

Yes, in the way that up jumps and x kicks, that's what I said. Same basic setup. But it doesn't feel like the same game in the slightest. It feels like it should've come out for PS2. If I had nothing better to do I'd probably be able to sit down and enjoy it, but as it stands, I'll still pass on it.
Not saying you shouldn't enjoy it, it's just not for me.
