Share the best moments/matches you can recall from them. I always like hearing about people's live experiences.

The first show I ever went to was a company called WWA. My main memories of the show:

Bret Hart being a hypocrite. He was the “commissioner” and he opened (and closed by putting Jeff Jarrett in a Sharpshooter after the main event) the show with a promo talking about how much he hated WWE/F. He basically said they were an awful, sleazy company and he’s proud of the fact that he’s always been kid friendly and isn’t associated with them anymore. Then he started calling Vince McMahon a piece of shit and saying he wanted him to die despite there being a bunch of children at the show.

Jeremy Borash, Konnan and Disco Inferno did commentary and it was played over the arena speakers. Disco and Konnan were hilarious and probably the highlight of the show.

Buff Bagwell pissed everyone off by saying it was “great to be here in Glasgow,England!” At first we thought he did it on purpose to be a dick because he was a heel but then he had a match and was clearly supposed to be babyface despite everyone booing him by this point.

Gangrel and Luna brawled through the crowd and ran right past me.

Grandmaster Sexay went to do a missile dropkick and slipped off the top rope. One guy a few rows down from us started chanting “you fucked up!” really loudly. NO ONE else joined in and he looked like an idiot, lol.

Scott Steiner called us all skirt wearing sissies.

I went to 3 SmackDown house shows between 2004 and 2007. Memories of those:

Tony Chimel would talk to the fans in between matches and appeared to be drunk.

I always had crappy seats compared to the WWA show. And I was only even ever at the SD show because RAW sold out too quickly.

The first show I went to, Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly were among the most popular people on the show which surprised me since they were basically jobbers at the time. John Cena still had his US title spinner belt and his old Basic Thuganomics theme. He didn’t rap though. He came out and interrupted a Paul Heyman promo and FU’d him. Torrie Wilson and Dawn Marie had a horrible match but I didn’t care. I was just happy to see Torrie. Rey Mysterio lost to Chavo Guerrero and people were pissed. Jamie Noble and Nidia had a match where Noble was blindfolded. It was hilarious, even though the exact same match had been done on TV months before. Eddie Guerrero beat Big Show in the main event. The whole match was comedy stuff. Everyone loved Eddie except one guy who kept chanting Eddie sucks. Every time he would start it everyone else would look disgusted.

The second show really sucked. Most of it was really boring. There were a few good things though. RVD gave Paul Heyman a frog splash though a table then drank beer with The Sandman for ages. Kelly, Layla and Kristal were supposed to have a bikini contest but instead just started fighting each other until they were taken to the back which people hated. Chris Benoit chopped Finlay like 100 times and everyone “whooooo!”’d every last one of them. CM Punk beat Mike Knox in a horrible match that was saved by Kelly celebrating with Punk after. The entrances for the main event were better than the actual match. People went crazy for Kane’s and especially Undertaker’s.

The last show I went to I was pissed because the RAW show the day before/after that I couldn’t get tickets to had John Cena and DX vs. Edge, Randy Orton and Umaga as the main event. You have no idea how much I’d have rather been at that show and seen HHH and HBK live. It may have been a blessing in disguise though because I got to see Maryse. Although at this point I wasn’t a big fan and didn’t really know her that well. She and Michelle beat Victoria and Katie Lea Burchill in a match that seemed to last forever. Even though I didn’t really know Maryse, I already hated Michelle by this point. Throughout the night Armando Estrado and Tony Chimel kept talking like The Undertaker wasn’t going to be there. Then when he of course did come out for the main event everyone was happy. His entrance was again the best part of the show. It’s pretty amazing.

I still regret not going to the 2008 Great American Bash when I was only a short subway ride away from it at the time. That was probably the only opportunity I’ll ever have to attend a PPV. And I missed out on HHH vs. Edge and Jericho vs. HBK! Although Michelle McCool also became the first ever Divas Champion that night so I may very well have walked out at that point had I been there.

I don’t plan on ever going to another house show. If WWE for some reason ever taped an actual episode of RAW in Glasgow then I’d definitely try and get tickets for that though. I wouldn’t bother with SD or TNA though unless the tickets were free. I was offered a ticket to a TNA show a few years ago though but it fell on the day of my birthday and I already had plans so couldn’t go.

I'll write about the recent Southside show I went to, because it's still fresh in my mind.

I was on the second row, which is the closest I've ever been for a wrestling show.

The show kicked off with a really crappy tag team match between The Predators & a father & son team that wore t-shirts saying "Old Bastard" & "Young Bastard". The Predators cut one hell of a promo before the match. My friend pointed out that the "Young Bastard" got a boner during the promo... I laughed so hard. The "Young Bastard" turned on the "Old Bastard" during the match.

Nikki Storm came to the ring and explained that her opponent decided to no show. Rockstar Spud came out, and he did his ring apron pose for like 3 minutes, which pissed people off... it was hilarious. Spud ended up beating Storm with Rockstar Stunner and a SEX PIN. I ripped this off a few weeks back on NFA.

CZW's Sami Callihan wrestled Dave Mastiff in one of the most brutal matches I've ever witnessed. Callihan dropped Mastiff on his head with a top rope powerbomb. I cringed.

Finlay kicked the shit out of Martin Kirby. He was within arms length of me at one point, but I was too busy fan girlin' to tap him on the shoulder.

During the intermission I could have met Finlay, but the queue was massive, so I gave it a miss. My friend pointed out Holly Rocamora in the audience, he told me she's a pornstar under the name of Holly Dee (D?). I didn't believe him, so I Googled her. She is indeed a porn actress, but I never have to speak to her, so it wouldn't be awkward. Right? Wrong. I spoke to her, but having just seen her get porked on camera, I had to pretend I didn't know who she was.

There was a raffle, and every prize was won by the same person. That person got the biggest heat of the night. It's a shame they didn't film it, because it was brilliant.

Doug Williams squared off with Stixx, Rampage Brown (who looked like the lovechild of David Haye & Maven) & Joel Redman in 4-Way. Stixx ended up winning, the bastard.

Then I went to leave the building, but ended up exchanging a few words with Doug. It was amazing.

I've been to three. Two SmackDown ones in late 2002 and late 2004, and a Raw one after WrestleMania in 2006. They were all good fun, although I'd say I enjoyed the first one the most despite there being less big stars. I remember being really embarrassed at one point though, 'cause I would've been ten years old and was with my dad, and Torrie and Dawn Marie had a bra and panties match.

Torrie vs. Ariel in a dance contest was on one of the shows I went to. Ariel got the bigger crowd reaction, but the win was given to Torrie anyway.

It's because Torrie just stood there, whilst Ariel grinded the ropes, the floor, Kevin Thorn AND Torrie.

I still cheered for Torrie, because Ariel tried too hard.

I went to the weirdest show ever on Saturday night. It was a CZW invasion show, so I knew it was going to be shit.

I don't know how many CZW wrestlers were on the card, but I'd literally heard of none of them for their actual wrestling, I'd only ever seen them in Botchamania, lol. Anyway, only one of them was any good, and I think that's because he won me over by continuously emulating popular wrestlers from the past, which was fun. He took part in a dance-off for charity (they were raising money for British wrestling Kris Travis who is currently battling stomach cancer), and he did Alex Wright's dance at one point, which was awesome. The dance-off was against a fan, who tried to stand and bounce on the ropes, and ended up falling backwards in hilarious fashion.

To go alongside the CZW stuff, they booked Scotty 2 Hotty. Yes, on a show that was basically for over 18s, they booked someone who was bound to bring children in. I still don't understand that move. Scotty fought Joseph Connors (possibly the best serious wrestler in the UK right now) in a match that reminded me of a much better version of Scotty vs. Mordecai. Scotty lost, but after the match he laid out Connors with the Worm, and then invited his son into the ring. Scotty's son then did his own version of the Worm for the biggest pop of the night. It was honestly the only thing that happened all night that deserved a "this is awesome" chant.

The main event was an unadvertised barbed wire death match. It was the worst match I've ever seen. DJ Hyde, the CZW boss, fought Jimmy Havoc. Hyde had been carrying around the barbed wire all night, asking people to touch it to prove that it's real. It wasn't real. The barbed wire barely left a scratch in the match, which I'm glad about, because the last thing I wanted to see was somebody getting torn apart. Still, the competitors (lol) bladed to give the match some "realism" anyway. The crowd wasn't allowed to take pictures during this match, by the way, because it wasn't covered by the venue's insurance, and if anyone had been seriously hurt, then the venue and SWE would have been in big trouble.

The highlight of the night was a friend of my best friend telling DJ Hyde to bid during one of the charity auctions. When DJ Hyde asked, "What are they bidding on now?" he turned around and replied, "A training session!" I've never seen anybody so angry in my whole life, omg.

I never answered this aside from announcing I was going to SummerSlam, and I'm bored now, so here goes....

RAW - February 2004: This was one of my favorite shows because it was my first, we had great seats, and it was back when every part of the show was still entertaining. I think the divas match was Trish & Victoria vs Jazz & Molly? I was just excited to see Trish, and I was sitting right behind Victoria on the apron so I was just staring at her ass hanging out the whole time. This was during the Jericho/Trish/Christian thing, and it was the first time Christian had hit on Trish when he offered to take her to see Jericho in the hospital after Kane took him out. At least that's where they said he was, then after the show we seen him driving away from the arena. Undertaker was playing his mind games on Kane at this time too to set up his redebut at WM20, and made it rain on him in the arena. My naive 13 year old ass was like, this is it. The Undertaker is going to come back on this random ass Raw in shitty Bakersfield, California. Needless to say, he didn't, but a boy could dream.

The funniest part of this show was after the show when Stone Cold stayed for 30 minutes after to entertain the crowd. Lilian's album had just come out so he made her sing one of her songs, and then they started drinking and she got legit drunk. When we seen her leaving the arena she was in the back seat of a car and was lifting her boot up to the window.


Judgement Day 2004: We had terrible seats, cause it was our first PPV and we didn't know you had to pay so much more for better seats. So we were in the nose bleeds at Staples Center, which are insanely high. That's all I really remember about this show. That and Torrie Wilson ripped Dawn's pants off.

Royal Rumble 2005: We shelled out the extra dough this time and got good seats. I was upset there were no divas aside from Torrie, Christy and Amy backstage. Counting down during the Rumble match was so much fun, but I'm still mad that I went the only year they didn't have a single surprise entrant. My biggest memory from this show was finding out we had a flat tire after the show and having to wait 3 hours for AAA to show up. But while we waited, my mom and I stood by the loading area and watched people leave again. Stephanie totally ignored me while she smoked, even tho I was screaming her damn name (prolly why she ignored me), and Batista was the last to leave. His SUV drove right passed us and I chased it for about 20 feet. I was a sad sad teenager "child". Oh yeah, and we had no idea why the fuck Vince was sitting down in the ring at the end of the Rumble. Oops on him.


RAW/SD! Supershow - June? 2005: This was a great show even tho we had shitty seats. This was when Hulk Hogan returned and teamed with Cena & HBK to lead into their SummerSlam feud, and the Diva Search with Ashley was taking place. I forget what they did on the show. I think it was when Leyla (or someone) said they weren't wearing any underwear. I'm not 100% tho. Smackdown was the final night of the 2005 Draft when Batista took the World Title over there. SD was also Melina's first match when she fought fitness instructor Michelle McCool.

The biggest moment of the night happened after the show when I got in a fight with my oldest brother so he took off walking hours away from home so we sat there and waited for him to come back. My mom had to go to the bathroom so she and I went back to the arena, but they were on lockdown mode. My mom convinced the person to let us in to use the bathroom, and I seen them taking apart the ring through one of the aisles. That's when I first discovered the rings were made of wood. It was weird for me to see cause I always thought they were just metal bars, springs and padding. Anywho, the person who let us in got reprimanded in front of us and  probably fired later, but on our way out there was a tour bus and my mom was like "look at that guys arms, they're huge!" about the guy inside. I didn't want to get in trouble so I started walking back to the car and she walked towards the bus. She came back 5 minutes later with a pic of her and John Cena.....


SmackDown! - October 2005 (aired in November): This was a really fun show cause we had really close seats. Probably the best I've ever had. It was filmed on a Sunday cause of Taboo Tuesday but took place after, so they kept talking like the PPV had already happened. The smackdown fist stage was awesome in person and probably my favorite stage I've ever seen live. This was Eddie's 2nd to last SmackDown, and they had a really fun dark match between him, Batista and Orton for the belt. It was also a really Melina heavy show so I was here for it. And on Velocity, Brian Kendrick got a massive wedgie that he never fixed all the way to the back where I pretty much got to see his whole ass and I had a crush on him at the time so I was looking, sue me.


RAW - Halloween 2005: This was the next night, Pre-Taboo Tuesday. We had worse seats. Diva costume contest with Trish as Wonder Woman, Stone Cold and Stephanie both bailing on their storyline, and Goldust and Vader's random returns are all I remember from this show. That, and this was the first time I noticed the crowd starting to turn on Cena, including us cause he fought HBK and we liked him better. A guy with a whistle lead the Cena Sucks chants. The first of many times I would chant that.


RAW - February 2007: All I remember from the show was we were by the stage and the fireworks were hella loud, and Melina won the Women's Championship for the first time to utter silence except for me jumping up and screaming "Yeeeeeaaaaaahhhhh!!!!" like the guy on Little Miss Sunshine, @ 5:00 in this video.


SmackDown! - March 2010: This show was only cool cause it was the first time I had gone in 3 years. Super CM Punk heavy show back when I loathed him, and NXT pissed me off cause Daniel Bryan came out to Miz's music but Miz wasn't there at all. This was the show where Undertaker fought Drew McIntyre in the main event and officially ended his undefeated streak.


SummerSlam 2012: Good show until that shitty ass main event. The Cena/Punk/Big Show main event was amazing and had the crowd going, but Triple H and Brock killed us and made literally every single person leave unhappy with the show. I proudly started the "You tapped out" chant at Triple H that had the internet fuming cause it was disrespectful and they thought it was gonna be Triple H's last match. lol...

I think I hit them all. We tried going to WrestleMania 21 but it sold out in 45 seconds.

No one knew. The whole ending until Batista's music hit was really confusing. The crowd was split down the middle for them tho. Even I was on Team Cena and my brother was on Team Batista.
