Southside presents Notorious II on May 27th, and it'll be co-main evented by this match: ... unfortunately I'm going to the show after this one, so I won't be seeing it live.

Finally.... ROCKSTAR SPUD vs. MARTY SCURLL After 3 solid weeks of negotiations we can finally reveal that the final match confirmed for IPW:UK Extreme Measures 2012 will see new British Cruiserweight Champion and one half of the British Tag Team Champions ‘Party’ Marty Scurll go one on one with the man who has physical possession of the belt and the man who has been goading Scurll since he first appeared on ITV’s Take Me Out in January this year: The Rockstar Spud. Originally scheduled to be a non-tournament bout, The Rockstar; a notoriously hard negotiator stuck his heals in & demanded that Terry Fraziers scheduled tournament contest with Rene Dupree be made non tournament and he vs Scurll become apart of the Extreme Measures Tournament proper. He has stated on record that should he be victorious there will not be an Iron Fist match at Sunday August 26th’s Summer Sizzler. There will instead be a celebration of champions: a rock concert starring himself and his running buddies T-Bone and the Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion: Sha Samuels. This was on top of an inflated fee and a series of additional demands the likes of which exceed those that have been well documented in the past. Perhaps the key point here is that The British Cruiserweight Championship will also be on the line although in the Rockstars mind he is entering the contest as the champion and not as the challenger. IPW has asked for official comment from The Rockstar to broadcast on their YouTube channel, but the Rockstar, ever the team player has said he would prefer that his views remain unedited and uncensored on his own YouTube Channel. So many words have been said in the lead up to this match up but it was the ultimate act of disrespect that led Scurll to finally bite and issue the challenge when The Rockstar who had initially agreed to show up at The Troxy to meet management with the British Cruiserweight Championship belt turned up at the prestigious venue claiming to have ‘forgotten’ the gold. Taking away the icing on the cake of what should have been Marty’s crowning moment. So much can be said about both men and this contest is a grudge match in every sense of the word, but at the end of the day Come next Sunday June 3rd, all the words, all the talking will mean nothing as it will be Scurll vs Spud one on one for the first time since this whole thing started in a truly combustible environment!
How this all came about...
Spud has carried this feud from start to finish. Marty Scurll cannot cut a promo. #TeamSpud

TNA Knockout Velvet Sky has been announced for the upcoming WWC (World Wrestling Council’s) 2012 anniversary show. The tour dates are 6/29 to 7/1, and will feature stars such as Ricky Banderas, Melina, John Morrison, Carlito, and ROH’s Davey Richards. ==================================== Good to see Velvet working more wrestling shows outside of TNA. I wonder who she will face though.

I'm so glad I didn't make the trip to see this, because Spud no-showed. Spud has always blurred the line between kayfabe and real life, so it could be a storyline. In other news, René Duprée became the new Southside Champion. I'm hoping Spud vs. Duprée happens next month instead.

René Duprée looks set to become a Southside semi-regular now that he's the champion.
Juventud Guerrera is the next import coming to Southside, hopefully at this months show, because I'm definitely going to that one.

This is the only time I will ever post in this thread but I just have to get y'all up on this Von Erich tea. I don't even know what organization this took place with, but Ross and Marshall Von Erich ( aka, Lacey's baby cousins . . . oh, and Kevin's sons, I guess) made their tag team debut in an impressive match for Pro Wrestling NOAH. Or something. Anyway, there's pics!
Here for it.

He takes a shot at Triple H, but I doubt he can hear him from the top of that pile of money he's sitting on.
And yes, Duprée is holding a World Heavyweight Championship replica belt, because the Southside owner doesn't realise that using replica belts is really tacky.
He sounds really happy to be there though, right? Ha.
