Ugh. I'm so ashamed that at one point in my life, I owned two of Creed's albums. In my defense, I was only like 12 or 13 and was just getting out of my *NSYNC phase.

It doesn't really mean anything anyway. The population is larger and the way music is bought is way different. It's so much easier to purchase music now then it was back when.
"The Black Eyed Peas' “I Gotta Feeling” is more popular than any Elvis or Simon & Garfunkel song"
I'm really curious how they determined this one. Are they just taking in count how popular the song was when it was released or are they actually compiling stats over time?
The list is pretty stupid and annoying. I prefer the second side of the list, but I hate people that are that pretentious about music.

The worst part is that half of it doesn't make sense. The Led Zeppelin/Rihanna singles comparison being particularly ridiculous.
If you're going to try to be all elitist about something like this then at least know your bands.

These are the only two that disappoint me in anway. 9. Barbra Streisand has sold more records (140 million) than Pearl Jam, Johnny Cash, and Tom Petty combined12. This guy exists.
