I started reading The Hunger Games the other night. It's really good so far.

I re-read Batman: Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader? earlier today. I wish DC would have given Alfred's story of all the Batman villains being Alfred's actor friends, with Alfred potraying The Joker, it's own book. It was definitely the best part of the story by far, it should be given a one-shot tbh.

Was the rest of it as good?
I'm reading Notes on a Scandal. I'm not allowed to watch the movie. It's great and the narrator is brilliant.

The second book was really good but the third was emotionally draining. It didn't have the ending I was pulling for, but it made sense for the characters.

Notes on a Scandal is the best book yet. At first you think at its heart it's about an affair between a teacher and a sixteen year old boy, but it's not really about that it all, not really.

I think I'm going to read The Stand again. It's my all time favourite book. I haven't read it in years though.

I'm currently reading a book called 'Starcrossed'. It's essentially Twilight, just take out the vampires and werewolves and replace it with demi-gods/Greek mythology.
At first I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but then as I read on, I realized I couldn't figure out what the plot of the book was. And usually when you're like 50 pages in, you kinda get a hint about where it's going, but this, I had no idea on what piece of mythology it was gonna be about, which kept me reading. But like I said, it's very 'Twilight' like. Like the main character's life, along with her love interest, revolve around each other's. Which, to me, is annoying and dramatic, but then again the book is called 'Starcrossed' so... lol Though at the same time, the main character isn't afraid to be a total bitch, which is something Bella could never do. Like she had no issue with bitching out her supposed love interest, and it was awesome.
And at first I couldn't stand the main character's best friend. She kind of portrayed as this crass, witty, Asian girl, whose main goal in life is to be valedictorian, but now that I'm 3/4's of the way through the book, I absolutely adore her. If you're in the mood for something light, I definitely think you should check this out. Especially if you enjoy Greek mythology.

Crime novels are the most boring books ever. I can't get past page ten.

DOOM: Knee-Deep in the Dead is so bad. The main character is so fucking annoying, I've got to the point where I'm only reading with the hope that he dies a slow and painful death.

I finished the Percy Jackson series last night. It started out a little young for me, but the story was good so I gave it a chance and I'm glad I did. The last book was like, the perfect exclamation point to end them. I think I'll give the author's second series a shot next.

Holy fuck, this is real! I thought it was fan art until I saw it listed on Forbidden Planet. I'm pre-ordering it now.

If at anytime Worf takes on a Dalek, please let me know so I can find a copy. Or if they announce that Crusher is a Time Lord.

If at anytime Worf takes on a Dalek, please let me know so I can find a copy. This is the plot description listed on Forbidden Planet: "They said it would never happen! Nearly five decades and 1500 episodes in the making! The two greatest science-fiction properties of all time cross over for the first time in history, in Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation!
When the Federation's most terrifying enemy strikes an unholy alliance with one of the Doctor's most hated antagonists, the result is devastation on a cosmic scale! Spanning the ends of space and time itself, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the USS Enterprise find themselves joining forces with the Doctor and his companions, with the fate of the galaxy hanging in the balance!" So the Doctor Who villains are either going to be the Daleks, the Cybermen, or The Master. I'm pulling for the Daleks, because I've never really like the Cybermen. Plus, The Master has pretty much been retired.

I'm going to sit down and read DDP's book today. I got it in a clearance sale a few years ago, and it's been sitting on my shelf ever since. I hope it's good.
