The road to SummerSlam continues tonight on RAW, with less than 2 weeks to go until the annual summer spectacular.
Here’s a preview for tonight’s RAW:
- Triple H will address the situation of both CM Punk and John Cena claiming to be WWE Champion. There’s a strong chance that Triple H will announce a WWE Championship unification match between John Cena and CM Punk at SummerSlam.
- CM Punk will formally address the WWE Universe for the first time since his return at the end of last week’s show.
- A Divas battle royal will be held to determine who will challenge Kelly Kelly for the Divas title at SummerSlam. Pffft a diva battle royal  Been there, done that. Unless there are Bikinis or Torrie Wilson involved, mine were better. And if John Cena wins that unification match, I'm going to be severely PO'd. I may put a hit out on Burke. |

The ending of last weeks RAW would have been a great ending to SummerSlam. Have Cena vs. Rey with Cena winning then Punk returns afterwards just like they did. Then have Cena-Punk II at Night of Champions to determine the real champion. I don’t think he had to be gone till January or anything like that but being gone at least a couple more weeks would’ve made his return even better. Still, I loved that ending last week so I’m not really complaining.
Still pulling for Kelly vs. Maryse at SummerSlam even though I think Eve (ugh) will be the one to win this battle royal tonight.

I'm predicting an Eve/Alicia double elimination at the end, with Kelly/Alicia/Eve at SummerSlam. Sounds FUN.  Other predictions: - Maryse and Beth will make up the final four. - Melina will get eliminated mid-way through in a double elim with either Nattie or Gail, 'cause it ALWAYS happens. - Rosa will be first out. - Tamina will be awkward and uncoordinated. - Despite that, Eve will make Tamina look graceful by comparison. I'm so going to tick these off as they happen. |
