I LOVED MORDECAI. I remember when they were hinting at a feud with Eddie Guerrero in his promos, and then all of a sudden he was brawling with Hardcore Holly in the corridors. :S I remember all that so vividly. I think they were going to have Mordecai be the one to end Eddie's reign but opted out when Eddie said he wanted to drop it to JBL. The Hardcore Holly stuff was shockingly bad. I remember Holly sandbagging a lot in their match at Great American Bash 2004 (I think) to make Mordecai look bad. Then he lost to Rey Mysterio on SmackDown! and vanished.

Wow, I remember all of that. And I properly never remember the none Diva stuff, so that's amazing. A testament to how amazing Mordecai could have been.
GAB2004 was just really awful in general. Dudleyz in the main event, and Charlie Haas, Hardcore Holly and whoever Kenzo Suzuki faced randomly getting matches at the last minute. And they all lasted WAY TOO LONG.

And they all lasted WAY TOO LONG. I agree. The Concrete Crypt Match was a total cringe fest. And yeah, Charlie Haas vs. Luther Reigns was awful, I've already mentioned the slopfest with Holly sandbagging Mordecai and Kenzo vs. Billy Gunn was pointless. The highlights of the event were the 4-Way for the US Title, the backstage diva hot tub segments and the Bull Rope Match.

I remember finding the four way match a bit of a let-down. The Cruiserweight title match was probably alright, but I honestly can't remember.
Oh, I remember Torrie pinning Sable when her shoulders weren't down, and the referee getting attacked for it the next week.
