Late I know. Hopefully Astro didn't already send his week in but if so oh well. I ain't gon get all into it because PPV's are mostly action and I don't do action:
The show started with the Diva Battle Royal, which seen the BP debut of Sunny and Torrie Wilson (and I think of few other people that had yet to debut but were hired before like Joy, Sarita, Rosita, Shelly ect.) The final 4 were Kelly, Trish, Michelle, and Jazz. Trish and Kelly teamed up (which is what should've happened at WrestleMania) and went against Jazz and McCool. Trish eliminated Jazz and herself with a running clothesline and Kelly had the upset underdog victory by eliminating Michelle to become the new BP Womens Champion!
AJ interviewed John Cena and he said that he was going to avenge Burke and then pretend this whole month never happened. Cena overcame the odds and delivered the AA to Mark Henry onto WSM (ouch) and locked WSM in the STF for the win. Cena saluted the screen, obviously saluting Burke watching from his hospital bed.
Jason and Jayzero got ready for their match. Jayzero joked around with Ashley. Astro said he didn't trust Jay. Jay said he knows they have their past, but tonight he was going to do everything he could to make sure Astro and Gabriel left with the belts, just to see the look on Tarry's face.
Jessica beat Lita. After the match Edge opened his arms to welcome Jessica to a hug, but she kicked him in fruit basket for cheating on her and flipped him the bird. Lita then tended to Edge's injury.
AJ caught up with Kelly Kelly who was leaving the arena. She said she was getting on a plane to go celebrate her win with Burke in person. Tonight, he's going to be happy to be bedridden, because he won't be in that bed alone.
Jason & Jayzero's match ended up being a handicap match as Wade Barrett kept getting involved. Jayzero put Williams through a table eliminating him. Magnus tried to put Ashley through a table but Jayzero took the bump instead, thus getting eliminated. Ashley checked on Jay. Barrett and Magnus double teamed Astro but he countered them and put Barrett through a table, eliminating him from the match he wasn't even supposed to be a part of. Magnus took control of the match but Justin Gabriel ran out and turned the tables. Jason set Magnus up on a table and Gabriel hit the 450 Splash through the table. The referee allowed it and announced Jason & Jayzero as the winners. Jason and Gabriel kissed and celebrated with their titles. Jayzero gave Astro a thumbs up as Ashley helped him to his feet. Jay and Ashley exchanged smiles as the four celebrated their victory.
Melina and John Morrison were backstage. Sable informed them that the contract Melina signed had an added stipulation. Winner gains control over John Morrisons contract. Tiarnan came out to the ring with Melina's music, giant feather fans, paparazzi, and even performed Melina's signature leg split entrance (he must've been practicing) Morrison tried to interfere in the match to save his contract and Melina's job, but he inadvertently kicked Melina in the head. Tiarnan made the pin, putting Melina out of a job, and basically making Morrison his slave. Tiarnan gave Morrison a bear hug and seemed confused why he wasn't as excited about his win. Security escorted Melina out but she broke through and stormed the ring and attacked Tiarnan but security pulled her off and hauled her away.
Tiffany told Brandon that she was taking Rene to the ring with her tonight and they got into an argument. Brandon said that Rene is his man and he had a championship to defend. She could find her own damn muscle.
Tarrynator and Randy Orton had a brutal cage match. Orton tried going out the door but Layla slammed it in his face. Tarry climbed over the top to retain the European Championship. Randy rolled under the cage as it lifted back up. Layla turned around into an RKO on the outside. Tarry took his belt and ran away through the crowd from Orton who proceeded to destroy the ringside area.
Miz and Maryse got in a small argument about him causing her to lose her title match last week.
Sable and Tiffany started as a game of cat and mouse with Tiffany running for most of the match. Jazz came out and attacked Sable giving Tiffany the upper hand. Tiffany got arrogant and started throwing Sable around the ring, even mocking Sables dance and thrust over her body. Sable began to come back but the World's Strongest Team came out and surrounded the ring. Jayzero, Jason and Justin Gabriel ran down to the ring and got rid of them. Tiffany tried to run through the crowd but Jason blocked her exit, she went to the other corner but Gabriel blocked her exit, she backed into Jayzero, and finally Sable ran out of the ring and slammed her headfirst into the announce table. Sable smiled at Jayzero, kissed her fingers and pressed them against his lips pushing him away. Jay smiled as the three left. Sable tossed Tiffany back in the ring, and after a short beatdown, finished her off with a Sable bomb for the win.
The main event seen Brandon face off against the Miz in his first official title defense. The match seen alot of interference from both Rene Dupree and Maryse. The Miz even got a little revenge by hitting Brandon with his own version of the stinkface. Just when it seemed like Miz was going to pick up the win, Maryse hit him with a low blow, allowing Brandon to finish Miz off for the pin. Brandon and Maryse laughed and hugged as the three celebrated over Miz's body to close the show.

Poor Layla... but at least I got out unharmed, right? And I'm sure Winter was waiting for me backstage.

It's been a great month. I loved my story. It's everything I wanted and MORE.   I enjoyed everything, but the other highlight imo was the Jessica/Edge/Lita thing. Nice to see Jessica take her stand on that cheating bastard. |
