We hope you DVR'd tonight's episode, because a whole lotta shit went down!
In an exciting start to our show this week, Justin Gabriel and Jason defeated The Miz and Alex Riley to be named the number one contenders to the Meanest Girls' tag team titles. The victory came when all four men found themselves in the ring. Jason hit the Skull Snap on Alex Riley, allowing Justin Gabriel to come in with the 450 Splash while Jason neutralized The Miz. With all of their recent personal and professional success, Justin and Jason were floating on cloud nine! For now...
Randy Orton made short work of Cody Rhodes. He knew that on the list of people who wanted to harm him, Cody ranked fairly high. After kicking Cody's candy ass up and down the ring, Randy leveled him with a stiff punt to the head. He was more concerned with hurting Cody (well, his attacker) than winning the match. As soon as the referee raised Randy's arm in victory, the mystery stalker slid into the ring and caught Randy off guard. Grabbing Orton from behind, his attacker planted him to the mat with a familiar Snap Reverse DDT. With the silhouette-like figure standing over Randy's body, he hooked his fingers into the neck of his skii mask. Pealing the disguise off his face, the stalker was revealed to be none other than Tiarnán! WTF? Admiring the damage that had already been done, Tiarnán looked to inflict more. Sitting Randy up, Tiarnán locked in the Dragon Sleeper, drawing an onset of officials and referees out to break up the beat down. "I only wanted you to like me!" Tiarnán screamed as he was pulled off of Orton. After being reprimanded by an official, Tiarnán slowly climbed out of the ring, savoring his handiwork the entire way up the ramp. With a smile that bared every tooth in his mouth, Tiarnán ran his fingers through his matted curls. "I told you, Randy. I told you that you would see." Tiarnán spoke to himself. One way or another, Randy now knew how important he was to Tiarnán.
"Someone help!" Jason cried from backstage. He only stepped out of his dressing room for a minute and returned to find Justin Gabriel unconscious with a signed copy of Tiffany's Playboy laying across his torso. A calling card left behind by the Meanest Girls. Cursing the duo, Jason threw the magazine against the wall and turned to get a medic, but unknowingly walked right into Brandon and Tiffany! "Where do you think you're going?" Tiffany asked, grabbing one of Jason's arms while Brandon grabbed the other. "I've got to get help." Jason stressed. "How about we have a little chat first?" Brandon proposed, wrenching Jason's arm violently. "Let me go!" Jason cried, trying to fight his grasp. "Whatever happened to please?" Tiffany asked, tugging on Jason's other arm. "Please this!" Jason yelled, flipping her off. After gasping in offense, Tiffany slapped the taste out of Jason's mouth before Brandon pushed him into the doorframe of the stairwell. As Jason stumbled onto the first few stairs, the Meanest Girls remained relentless on their attack. Kicking Jason's contorted body, they continued until he laid as lifeless as Justin Gabriel. "See you this Sunday!" Brandon chimed, throwing in an extra kick for good measure before walking down the hallway hand in hand with Tiffany.
Back in the arena, Maryse and Melina stood in the ring with microphones in hand. After calling out the Beautiful People, Maryse informed them that they had a "special surprise" for them. "Someone you know very well." Melina added. Velvet Sky and Angelina Love were skeptical at first, but once Madison Rayne's music hit, it all made sense. Walking past her former partners, Madison joined Maryse and Melina in the ring, draping her arms over their shoulders to pledge her allegiance. The Beautiful People weren't pressed however. "It's funny you guys mention it, because we have a little surprise of our own." Angelina confessed, causing the confident smiles on the M's faces to falter. "Allow us to introduce you to a former, and once again current member of the Beautiful People..." Velvet announced before bringing out none other than Lacey Von Erich! With the Destiny's Child of wrestling reunited, Lacey, Velvet and Angelina sauntered down the ramp arm in arm to take on Maryse, Melina and Madison.
Lacey Von Erich's welcome to NFA wasn't quite what she had imagined. Spending the majority of the match being worked by the M's in the corner, one would distract the referee while the other two illegally double teamed Lacey. Finally, Velvet Sky and Angelina Love had enough. Storming the ring, the original Beautiful People knocked Maryse and Melina off of the ring apron and went after them on the outside, leaving Lacey alone with Madison Rayne. As Madison vaulted off the ropes towards Lacey for a big boot, she was unexpectedly caught by the Von Erich Claw! Bringing Madison to her knees, Lacey applied the pressure to Madison's scalp, leaving the Killer Queen no choice but to submit. With Lacey victorious in her BP debut, Maryse and Melina fished their Frankenstein project out of the ring while Angelina and Velvet rejoined their Beautiful sister to celebrate their victory.
As we caught up with the weekly soap opera that is Jessica's life, she was already in the middle of a shoving match between Edge and D'Angelo Dinero. Things got so heated that Jessica was accidentally pushed to the floor. (Unfortunately we didn't see by whom, but we'll update you as soon as we know who the woman beater is.) Abandoning the alpha male pissing contest, Edge turned his back on Dinero and quickly came to Jessica's aid. With his back turned to Pope, D'Angelo grabbed a handful of Edge's luxurious blonde hair and threw him against a packing crate. With Edge slumped over on the floor and Jessica all defenseless and sexy, Pope stepped towards the vulnerable redhead, but was quickly chased off by the officials who came to check on the commotion. Jessica ignored their pandering to her own injury and checked on her man. Something had to give between Edge and Dinero, and soon.
Back in the arena, the fans were treated to another Kelly Kelly appearance they've come to know and love, but tonight Kelly wasn't her usual happy-go-lucky self. Approaching the ring with hesitance, Kelly felt like a lamb on her way to the slaughterhouse. At the behest of the World Champion, she was facing the female half of Continental Coalition in a two on one handicap match. Waiting in the ring for Kelly like the entrance-less basic bitches they are, Winter and Layla were chomping at the bit. As soon as the official rang the bell, Winter and Layla went to work on Kelly, working the fan favorite over with a series of double team maneuvers. Kelly tried to fight back to the crowd's approval, but the two on one onslaught proved to be just too much for young Kelly to handle. After a devastating Face Lift by Layla in the corner, Continental Coalition finally had a clean victory over Kelly Kelly, if you want to call it that.
That didn't appear to be enough for the two jealous Divas though. After the referee raised their hands in victory, Layla and Winter continued their assault on Kelly Kelly, kicking her in the ribs and back until she curled into a ball on the canvas. It wasn't until they spotted Burke that they let up on their attack. Sliding into the ring, Burke stepped towards Winter and Layla, causing their wigs to stand on end. Burke fancied himself too much of a gentleman to lay his hands on a woman, but even these two knew they deserved it. Seeing them back away from Kelly was good enough for Burke, but not for Tarry, who appeared at the top of the stage with his lackeys in tow. Stomping down ramp, Continental Coalition surrounded the ring, looking to pick up where they left off last week. Ready for a fight, Burke stood over Kelly valiantly, just waiting for the first Englander who dared enter the ring.
Just when it looked like this place was about to blow, the familiar cracking of a whip halted the situation in its tracks. As Sable stepped onto the stage with her boy toy Jayzero on her arm, everyone perked up to hear what the General Manager had to say. "You two have been so wrapped up in each other that you've forgotten what's important: the World Championship." Sable informed them. "To put things into perspective for you, I've decided on a main event for Over The Weight Limit. Tarry, you will defend your title against Burke." Sable announced, eliciting a fist pump from the excited Scotsman, who promised Tarry the title was coming home with him. "And Jayzero." Sable finally added, drawing a confused gasp from the fans, the commentators, the referee, Continental Coalition, Burke, and Kelly Kelly, who was convinced she'd suffered a concussion upon hearing the news. Despite doing nothing at all for the past two months, Jayzero managed to weasel his way into the main event of Over The Weight Limit. Play on, playa! "In fact, why don't you all get acquainted with each other right now? Tarry, you will team with Wade Barrett to take on the team of Burke and Jayzero." Sable announced before giving Jayzero a good luck tongue kiss that sent shivers up Burke's spine.
No matter who his partner was, Burke was prepared to give it his all. Never back down!, never quit!, etc. Unfortunately for Burke, Jayzero didn't share this mantra. After being worked over by Tarry and Wade Barrett for the better half of the match, Burke finally managed to ground Tarry with a flying shoulder block after being whipped into the ropes. Holding his hand out for a tag to Jayzero, Burke waited for Jay to reciprocate the tag. Instead, Jayzero delivered a middle kick through the ropes to Burke's stomach, doubling the fan favorite over. As Burke dropped to his knees, Jayzero hopped off the ring apron and stared into Burke's questioning eyes. "I've never liked you." Jayzero stated bluntly before waving farewell to Burke and turning his back on him. As Jayzero headed up the ramp, Tarry regained his stance and approached Burke from behind. Pulling the Scotsman to his feet, Tarry drove Burke to the mat with the Tarrydise for the win. Is there any better way to gain momentum going into their match at Over The Weight Limit?
Will Edge be able to defend Jessica's honor and defeat D'Angelo Dinero? Can Maryse successfully defend her Women's Championship against not only Angelina Love and Velvet Sky, but her good friend Melina as well? Will Jason and Justin Gabriel make the Meanest Girls pay for their actions? Can Jayzero become the most unaccomplished champion in BP history? Will Burke and Kelly Kelly ever hook up?! Girl, you better buy the PPV to find out...
