The worst thing is, even though I know the correct way to pronounce it now, it doesn't matter. I'm too far down this road now. I'm always going to see/hear it as gif, not jiff.

I always pronounced it "Jiff" but was told I was wrong so tried training myself to say "Gif" which always sounded really stupid to me. Once I finally got used to saying that, I found out it was in fact "Jiff" and wanted to slap Chris Hardwick

I didn't even know that was ever a debate. It sounds stupid with a hard g and as such I don't pronounce it that way.

I ended up buying a Gameboy phone case and I still sometimes try to press buttons on it. It's pretty embarrassing.

I have them all of the time. It typically takes people a few months to realize I'm not a complete moron. I have a really bad habit of wearing clothes inside out or backwards without realizing it. I also tend to say whatever comes to mind. If I'm thinking about something it'll slip out. It wouldn't be so bad, except usually when people talk to me I'm not paying any attention and am thinking of something completely different and usually inappropriate. I do the inside out clothes thing often, mostly just for work though. Get up in the morning chuck a shirt on and go, especially in winter when its so freaking cold I just want to not be nude. |

I didn't realise until like 2002 that Halle Berry's name was just that. I thought it was Holly Barry until I went to see that James Bond movie she was in. I said something like "Holly Barry is hot" and all my friends burst out laughing and I had no idea why until the credits came up and I saw her name and realised I'd been saying it wrong the whole time.

I had to present in front of the class today, and was attempting to use my teachers laptop by touching the screen. Then she came up and showed me how to use the mouse and keyboard.  |

This guy has been giving me driving lessons and he made me back out of my own driveway. Dumbass. Anyway, I figured since we were going backwards that I needed to turn my wheel in the opposite direction of the way I wanted to turn. Apparently, that's not accurate and now I have tire tracks in my snow.
