Inspired by the Wrestler Encounters thread.
I’ve never met any real “worldwide” known celebrities. Just so I don’t have an empty list I’ll name the people I’ve met that UK people or at least Scottish people would probably know:
Pretty much every Glasgow Rangers player from the late 90’s-now Sir Alex Ferguson (he came to my school) The members of Biffy Clyro Frankie Boyle The guy from Gary: Tank Commander Gordon Ramsay Maryse (Sorry, I just can't leave her out here)

He was one of the celebrity guests at a Rangers pre-season game a few years ago. He was cool.
He used to play for Rangers but he got injured and was forced to retire when he was pretty young. I think his post-football career has probably been more lucrative for him anyway tbh.
I'm kinda surprised that you know him actually. I thought all his shows and stuff were pretty much exclusive to the UK.

I used to love Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. I haven't seen it in ages though.
He had a restaurant in Glasgow but it shut down a few years ago. I'm kinda annoyed I never went at least once.

I haven't seen Hell's Kitchen yet. What's the difference between that and Kitchen Nightmares?

you know how on Kitchen Nightmares, he renovates people's restaurants. well, on Hell's Kitchen, he has aspiring chefs actually compete for a chance to be a top chef @ one of Gordon's restaurants. they used to reward the winners with their very own restaurant, but i think they gave up after like the 3rd season.

I just like watching him verbally destroy people tbh. If he does that in Hell's Kitchen then I'm sure I'll love it also.

Glaswegian people don't talk like Gordon Ramsay btw. I think he lived in England and other parts of Scotland most of his life so his accent isn't really specific to any region. At least not that I can think of.
Oh, and we don't really sound like Drew McIntyre either.

Um, not really tbh. Our school brings in famous ex-pupils for awards night, so I've chatted to and shaken hands with Ciaran Hinds and Martin O'Neill. Hinds has acted in a lot of stuff I've never seen, but is set to play Aberforth Dumbledore in Harry Potter & the DH2, so that's pretty cool. Martin O'Neill was cool too, but I'm not really into football so yeah. That's the extent of it.

Jealous? Also, Robbie Rogers, he's not as cute in person.

I dunno if you'd consider them celebrities, but I've met a few guys from bands. Tim Armstrong from Rancid - nicest guy ever. Travis Barker from Blink 182- though this was more of me bumping into him, not really meeting him. I apologized and he was like "no worries man". Seemed nice tho. There's more guys, but none of them very notable unless you're from where I'm at. I don't remember his name, but I met the lead guy that was in George Romero's Diary of the Dead. My cousin and even my friend met Selena Gomez. So unfair. I dunno if I'd actually go up to her though, that'd be kinda creepy. "Hey Selena, I'm 22 and a fan of yours!" And it's only a matter of time till I stalk meet Cory Monteith.
