I still think it was stupid to demote Natalya in favour of Eve all those months ago. Things for going well for a brief while, but it all went to hell when that happened.
To be honest, I do really love the new generation. A.J., Naomi, Aksana and Maxine are all awesome. So I think there could be a relatively bright future.

Michelle McCool leaving has been the best thing to happen to the diva division in years for me.
I don’t believe we’d have ever gotten Kelly Kelly’s title win, her match with Beth at SummerSlam and so on if Michelle was still around.

The Divas division really is in a weak state. Weaker than normal. As much as I detested some of them, they've lost a lot of star power over the past year with Mickie, Maria, Michelle and Melina being released, and Maryse, Kharma and Layla being out. Those were like, all of their top tier Divas. Now it's just Kelly, Beth and Natalya in a lukewarm storyline with a bunch of second rate Divas running around as filler. EXACTLY! I probably got spoiled by the Ivory/Lita/Trish/Victoria/Molly years. But that era pushed the bar upward and the current product is like watching a generic boy or girl band trying to be Beatles or something. |

Agreed, I won't go as far as calling these girls a 'saving grace', but I do think they have the potential to make the division exciting again. Since we got to know each girl during NXT, we have an idea on her personality, and all of them (including Maxine, she's seemed to step her game up) are at least average when it comes to wrestling and mic skill. |

... he's definitely creating a new character that's fed up of having his moves and gimmick stolen.

It occurred to me last night when I was watching SmackDown! that Aksana looks strikingly similar to Miss Kitty with the blunt cut bangs.
I didn't want to like Aksana out of loyalty to Maryse, but she's not so bad with black hair.

She does. I like the black bangs in that they hide her forehead and eyebrows.
I really like Aksana, and Teddy Long stuff is fun, but I definitely think silly Aksana > sexy Aksana.

Rosa Mendes, who has not appeared on WWE programming since SummerSlam, posted her first message on Twitter since August 20 by ranting about fellow SmackDown Diva A.J. The three-year veteran doesn't feel the Union City native "looks like a WWE Diva."
She wrote, "But what one thing I don't miss is looking at rookies that call themselves divas when they can't get a hold of some proactive to clear their Awful skin up, and start dressing like actual Divas instead of shopping at consignment stores in the kid section. You want to be a Diva? Look like one AJ. You look like a cashier that works at my local grocery store.
"Why you are on the roster boggles my mind!!!!!!!!"
Oh, the irony.

SmackDown! is being taped in Toronto, and Edge and Bret Hart are scheduled to appear as well. Since the Divas division is pretty irrelevant to Trish's standard of performance, it would be cool if she had a one-off backstage segment with Christian or something.
