Goldberg's streak and Austin vs. McMahon, probably the two biggest things of the Monday night wars, both began on the same night. I'm surprised this isn't more well known. I had no idea.

20 years ago today was one of the most iconic shows ever. I'm only posting because it's the first PPV I ever watched live. Tazz debuted and ended Kurt Angle's undefeated streak. The Hardys and the Dudleys had a tables match and Jeff did one of his first big crazy spots. Chris Jericho and Chyna's IC title feud had somehow gotten Hardcore Holly involved. Triple H and Cactus Jack had a classic street fight. Rikishi stole the show in the Rumble, which ended with Big Show being screwed over when Rocky's feet hit first. Everyone wanted Rock to win though so we just let that one slide. And of course, the infamous Miss Rumble 2000 swimsuit contest.
