I'm still not sure why this is such a big deal. I mean, it's big, but gators on golf courses are pretty normal. Plus, this one has clearly eaten recently and not being threatened so the guy wasn't even in danger. Unless someone is tracking it to make a gator skin suit.

Being that close to an alligator that size would scare the crap out of me, even knowing that it isn't really a danger. Alligators creep me out. So of course I'm planning a tour of the Everglades when I'm in Florida this time to get up close and personal with them.
