Updated standings - (1) Crimson - 31 points (4-0-0-1) (2) Gunner - 21 points (3-2-0-0) (3) Brother Devon - 21 points (3-4-0-0) (4) Matt Morgan - 14 points (2-2-0-0) (5) James Storm - 14 points (2-2-0-0) (6) Rob Van Dam - 14 points (2-1-0-0) (7) Bully Ray - 14 points (2-1-0-0) (8 ) A.J. Styles - 14 points (2-3-0-0) (9) Scott Steiner - 7 points (1-1-0-0) (10) Robert Roode - 0 points (0-2-0-2) (11) Samoa Joe - 0 points (0-2-0-0) (12) The Pope - 0 points (0-5-0-1) I can't believe The Pope has lost the most matches. Well if he can win that Xplosion Championship tournament he can challenge for any title he wants on Impact. So I guess he doesn't have to win the BFG series.

I stand corrected about the time frame. It's hard to keep up the passion for details these days.
I hope Storm and Roode are among those who make the final four. Crimson seems highly likely at this point and knowing TNA, RVD will be among the quartet also.

Orlando Jordan was released from TNA today. GenerationMe is gone as well they asked for the release yesterday. Gutted for OJ, his year or so with the sex pest gimmick (that was what it was, right?) was the most entertaining he'd ever been. Don't care about GenMe though.

TNA House Show Results from Salem, VA 7-21-11
Brian Kendrick defeated Abyss in an X-Division title bout via Sliced Bread #2
Velvet Sky & Miss Tessmacher defeated Rosita and Sarita
Crimson defeated Jeff Jarrett in a BFG Series bout
Beer Money defeated Scott Steiner & Gunner in a BFG Series match
Bully Ray defeated Samoa Joe in a BFG Series bout
AJ Styles defeated Mr. Anderson
Credit: Gerweck
====== I don't get the point of the tag team BFG series matches. I know the guy who gets the pin gets the points but if that's the case what is the point to it being a tag match? If it's a team effort I think both guys on the winning team should get the points.

Matches for Live Events this week in Austin, Tyler and Houston, TX.
That's odd they still have Sarita wrestling. I thought she and Rosita had to drop the belts because of her current condition with her face. If she can still wrestle why take the titles from them?
I also thought they dropped the Sangriento character. Why not let the Amazing Red be himself?

- TMZ reports today that TNA has signed reality TV star Jessie "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Godderz to a deal. Here's what they wrote:
Former 'Big Brother' star Jessie Godderz a.k.a Mr. Pec-Tacular just signed a deal with TNA Wrestling -- and TMZ has learned the company is hopeful he'll debut on TV by the end of the year.
For those unfamiliar, Godderz was the professional body builder on "Big Brother" Seasons 10 and 11... and has been training to become a professional wrestler ever since leaving the house.
According to multiple sources, Jesse has signed a developmental contract with TNA Impact Wrestling that runs through the rest of 2011 -- and the company hopes to get him on TV in the next few months.
TMZ spoke to Jesse who tells us he's been "training with TNA wrestler Bully Ray at his facility in Florida" ever since signing the deal ... and is hopeful he'll get an opportunity to mix it up in the ring with Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle in the near future.
Don't really know who he is but he sounds like the perfect tag partner for Robbie E. But seriously TNA, stop rushing people through development. What's the point in a developmental system if you don't let talent develop?

The updated line up for Hardcore Justice.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Kurt Angle vs (c) Sting
TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Beer Money (c) vs Mexican America
X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Austin Aries vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Alex Shelley
SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH Fortune vs. Immortal
KNOCKOUTS TITLE MATCH Mickie James (c) vs Winter w/Angelina Love
BOUND FOR GLORY SERIES MATCH - #1 vs #2 Rob Van Dam vs Crimson
BOUND FOR GLORY SERIES MATCH “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero vs Devon
From the spoilers the last match will be Mr. Anderson vs Bully Ray. Shame that once again Velvet is being left off a PPV. What is going on with that?
Nice that The Pope be on a PPV but I hope they don't make him lose to Devon.

Hardcore Justice? ... What's so hardcore about it? I have no idea guess they decided to keep the name from the ECW reunion PPV they did last year.

Amazing Red announced this afternoon on his Twitter account that he has parted ways with TNA Wrestling. He cites creative differences for his departure from the organization.
Red wrote, "Heys Guyz, I just wanted to let Ya kno 1st...TNA & I parted ways do to the "creative has nothing for you" line, so we r gonna future endeavor each other right now.
"Thanks to my @impactwrestling famo & fans... Now "On to the Next one" (Jay-Z)."
Red, however, is still listed as a member of the TNA Wrestling roster on the organization's official website.
Max Buck, who too parted ways with TNA, reacted to Red's announcement with the following: "Within a year, you've now lost (Jay Lethal), (Jeremy Buck), (Max Buck), & (Amazing Red). C'mon now."
Red wrote in the response, "Weird huh, (X-Division run)."
Red had been appearing as Sangriento as well as himself in recent months.
That fucking sucks.

I'm guessing Madison will get involved in the KO tag match and cost Tara and Tessmacher the titles.
