IMO they should just give Angelina & Velvet the titles. Saving the trouble of this tournament business.

From Gerweck
Another KO done. I may not have been Taylor's biggest fan but that sucks for her.
Now I'm really afraid for Daffney. Though might be speaerd since Vince Russo is supposely a fan of hers. Also she is a former WCW talent so that might help her cause.

Kind of reeks for her. Especially after all the stories about her taking part time regular jobs to supplement her TNA one in the past. Though since she wasn't being used much lately, maybe she won't miss TNA too much for now.
I was fine with Taylor though she had more problems getting over than someone with her looks and ring ability would figure to have. In part because she's not mastered the art of effective promo cutting.
They still have enough good ladies to have a quality solo division. Though unless they sign more new talent, they are going to be stretching it with KO tag belts too.

I'm bored so I figured I will post some news.
From TNA-News.com
From last night's Impact Chelsea maybe done with TNA.
Also from Dixie Carter's twitter Samoa Joe has re-signed with TNA. Good for him I just hope they actually push him as a top guy again.

I can understand why Hamada didn't want to bother returning. She wasn't being used much at all.
Instead of effectively benching Taylor for months, why not invest a bit in her by paying for some acting or speech classes to help her there? Granted she had problems getting over at times. But if you are going to keep her on, do something to help shore up her weak point. As opposed to just hoping she'll magically improve there.
I respect Hernanadez but I suspect LAX will end up as his high water mark in TNA.
EY aside, they should never try to restore the old TNA championship belt. It was done once it became garbage. It's still okay for low level gimmicks like this. But after Jeff is done as Champ, they better make an entirely new strap.
Chelsea is highly cute but talent challenged. That said, I was hoping they'de use her to do a conflict angle between Wolfe and Magnus sometime down the road.
While Joe still has some credibility, I doubt he'll be pushed as the dominant force he was a few years back. Good for him in getting a contract though and I'm glad he'll be sticking around.

That's what I thought was on the horizon, obviously not. It seems that they're turning Magnus and Wolfe face to team with Doug. It's a shame they didn't keep Chelsea, she was great eye candy.

Looks like Taylor Wilde has quit TNA. Because when asked about it on her Twitter she posted this.
Alright then. I guess she will wrestle for ROH / Shimmer now.

The final card for Genesis 2011
Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson - #1 Contenders Match Madison Rayne vs. Mickie James - Knockout Title Match Bully Ray vs. Brother Ray Doug Williams vs. AJ Styles - TV Title Match (If AJ loses he's out of Immortal) MCMGs vs. Beer Money - Tag Team Title Match Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett - MMA Exhibition Match Jay Lethal vs. Kazarian - X Division Title Match Rob Van Dam vs. Mystery Opponent
Once again no TBP on PPV. I don't care about Team 3D feuding and I think Matt Hardy might be RVD's mystery opponent.

Karen Angle Jarrett Returning to TNA Perhaps the most startling news coming out of last night's Genesis pay-per-view wasn't that Jeff Jarrett planned to announce his departure from MMA competition, but that he would do so this Thursday night on iMPACT!, with his wife, Karen by his side.
Jarrett taunted his long time adversary Kurt Angle when he declared, "finally, the three of us are going to celebrate together".
For those of you who are not aware, tensions between the two have been high for some time, to say the least, since Angle's divorce from Karen in 2008 and her subsequent marriage to Jarrett last August. Thursday's appearance marks Karen Jarrett's return to TNA after a long absence. A former personal valet, who eventually had her own segment called "Karen's Angle", left the show in 2008.
There is no question sparks are gonna fly as Jarrett told Angle of his plans and that, "Karen was going to come to the iMPACT! Zone, whether he liked it or not".
Don"t miss what promises to be a very "special" family reunion, this Thursday, January 13 at 9PM ET/8PM CT on Spike.Source

PWInsider confirmed that TNA has signed a new Knockout. Northeast indy wrestler Divina Fly. She had a dark match against Angelina Love a few weeks ago. This is what she looks like.
