You couldn’t pay me to watch this shit. I fell for the hype with the first one (I was under the impression I was going to see a horror movie). Never again.

I just watched one of them all the way through, except for the middle hour or so. Am I wrong or is it just about a depressed girl with a stalker and she then makes up all this stupid shit about vampires and werewolves? Also, that is a really unhealthy relationship.

Twilight is pretty disgusting tbh. Not only because these two dudes fight over who has the right to claim this girl, but when one dude leaves our protagonist, she sits in her room for half a year like a weak duck and then rushes to take him back the second she's given another opportunity to be with him. Get a life, you low self-esteem having bitch.

I quite enjoyed reading parts of the books. The second is actually very good as far as light popular fiction goes, aside from the bit where she mopes around waiting for Edward to come back for her. I liked her with Jacob.
I also want to marry Jasper for a little bit.
I haven't seen any movies bar the first one, so I can't really comment, but I don't think it was that bad.

Can’t get enough of your sparkly vampires and their freaky super-foetuses? Dreading November 16th, the date when the Twilight franchise will finally come to an end with Breaking Dawn Part 2? Well have hope, for there’s a possibility you’ll get to relive the magic of Twilight all over again with another decade of remakes!
Bloody Disgusting have reported under the ominous headline, “Lionsgate Plans On Remaking Twilight. It’s True. They’ll Deny It. But It’s True,” that the studio will begin seriously discussing plans for a reboot from the five year anniversary of the franchise’s beginning in 2013. BD aren’t naming their source, but the wording of the article suggests that they have (or think they have) inside information.
As of right now, the first part of Bloody Disgusting’s prediction has already come true: with interesting haste, Lionsgate reps jumped straight onto the phone with Deadline to deny the rumours, saying:
Roughly translated, this means that they’re not not going to reboot the series, but they’re not drawing up any plans at the moment. Allegedly. Of course, if they were making plans then it’s highly unlikely they would admit to it, so perhaps Bloody Disgusting are on target with the rest of their prediction.
I’m personally in favour of a reboot, if only because I’ll never grow tired of the Rifftrax commentaries for these films.

Man charged in 'Twilight' theater shooting spree plot
A Missouri man has been charged with allegedly planning a mass shooting spree at a screening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2, EW has confirmed.
[Douchebag], 20, allegedly purchased assault rifles and ammunition and planned an attack on a weekend Twilight screening. He faces charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, and making a terroristic threat.
[Douchebag's] plot echoes [Piece of Shit's] alleged shooting at a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado. There are too many sick people out there
