Figgins thinking Tina was a vampire was my favorite thing to ever happen on Glee, honestly.

I'm only 8 minutes into the last episode but so far every word out of Sue's mouth has been gold.

I finally watched last week's episode. I'm usually iffy on character based episode, but Sue fucking killed it tonight. I was screaming from start to finish. I still can't believe she put a cub in Blaine/Dave's apartment, then Kurt had to explain to her that a bear/cub isn't the actual fucking animal. And Principal Abigail Figgins! DEAD. Also as I was watching, it occurred to me that the last season is supposed to be parallel with the first half of season one and it made me feel things. I love all these full circle moments.
I'm assuming this is ending with Sectionals, just like how it started, but I hope that they bring back Marley, Jake, Ryder, and Unique to rejoin and finish off where they started as well. I don't see why they wouldn't, but that would just be perfect to me. Bree too.
Also I've been bracing myself with each episode because Glee has conditioned me to think that for every good episode, there's 19 bad ones to follow, but the quality has been consistent.

Sue obviously stole this episode, no surprises, but Kitty is a second runner up. I loved that everything that happened in the past cut her as deep as it did, it really showed a lot of development on her character, who was already the most developed of the four brought in from season 4. Also I love that she inadvertently became the team leader of the New Directions. Still keeping my finger's crossed that they'll get Marley, Jake, and Ryder to join last minute, kinda like when Finn quit the first time and came back in the nick of time.

I'm so upset that they've deprived us of Brittany's parents for this long. The scenes with Santana's grandmother made me so anxious because I think that her rejecting her grand daughter was one of the most powerful/saddest moments in the show. Brittany slayed in the end, standing up for Santana. They are without a doubt one of the best couples in tv history. And what makes it even better is their relationship makes Kurt/Blaine's relationship look more awful than it already was. So if they get back together, it'll just be underwhelming because nothing can compare to Brittany and Santana.
The stuff with Mercedes and Rachel was cute too. I feel like this season I've really found myself to care for Rachel, especially since her fall from grace was was a long ass fall to the bottom.
But Brittany stole this episode once again.

I was dying at Vocal Adrenaline's reaction to Mr. Schue, but I got so excited when Unique came out, I've missed her. Kitty and Spencer make a great team and I feel so deprived of them. Also I have the biggest crush on Mason (Cheerio twin). He's so fucking weird. I'm not sure if they're being subtle about it, but I'm here for Kitty and Artie part deux.
Awww poor Dave. I don't like how that ended with him and Blaine though, especially with how sweet he was about them breaking up. But Kurt makes no sense, why go through all this trouble to try and get close with Blaine, then date Walter? I mean, okay he used to be Perseus, so I'd get on that train too, but still.
Please bring Puck's brother back. I can forgo Marley and Ryder, but he was a gem.

Yeah I didn't like nor buy Karofsky being so understanding.
But girl I'm happy you have a crush on Mason, not because I do too, but because someone finally succeeded me and my weird crush on Artie! I pass the torch.

I really liked the Cool Kids performance at the end of tonight's episode. I loved in the earlier seasons when they would close episodes with performances while wearing matching outfits, so I appreciated that throwback. And I liked the stuff with Spencer and Roderick helping each other, and I lost my shit when Sue slapped that random girl in the hall, but I'm not feeling the addition of Myron and Alistair at all. Alistair looks 33 years old, and Myron? It's like when they made Justin a Power Ranger...

I'm kind of getting Astro's thing for Mason. Out of his Cheerio uniform he's pretty alright. Plus he has the best voice of the guys. I liked Myron, but it was so unnecessary to make him part of the Glee club. The possible interaction with Kitty should be great. It's so obvious they're going to bring back Ryder and the other three to fill the missing spots. I just wish they would have already done it instead of waiting until the end.
On a weird note, I want more Rachel. The show has basically been about her, but now that they're wrapping up they're finally downplaying her role? What's the point of having her and Sam hookup if they're not even going to show them as a couple. I never thought I'd actually be asking for more focus on her.

Rachel's reactions throughout this episode were the best. Mason and Madison's arc was perfect. I'm so glad that we got to see them more in depth. Especially when she got so pissed about him wanting to sing with Jane again and then shouted that embarrassing story about him shitting himself and saying it was a mudslide. Oh my god. As much as I wanted Jane/Roderick to happen, I'm actually okay with Mason/Jane.
The Spencer/Roderick/Workaholics guy storyline was alright too. I absolutely adore Roderick and Spencer was awful, but I mean that in the best way possible. I'm glad that they brought in a gay character with (intentional) antagonistic qualities, unlike Blaine/Kurt who developed dislike for them gradually. But a Spencer/Roderick bromance is another thing I would've loved to see happen. And Spencer turning everything around on him when Mason came to him and Roderick for help was gold.
Myron was hilarious too. I'm glad he was a bratty little shit, because I don't think he could've been anything else and me accept it. But oh my god the rope getting stuck and Spencer telling Roderick to climb it and Kitty was just like, I'm sure there's a ladder somewhere. I live. And he pooped himself.
Cool Kids was definitely one of my favorite group performances. I think keeping it simple really helps and it was such a throw back to their older performances.
It's interesting, I absolutely adore this crop of new kids. And I was trying to figure out why, because I loved the season 4 new kids. But I think it's because these new kids aren't comparable to the old New Directions, everyone stands out as their own character. Whereas Jake, Ryder, Marley, Unique, and Kitty were all combinations or rehashes of the original New Directions. And well, they were aesthetically pleasing too. I really wish that they'd brought these guys in earlier and merged them with the first crop of newbies. I really would've loved to see them have their own season and storylines.

Sue and Schue singing the Final Countdown and it being in their head had me cackling. I'm a little irritated that the Warblers ended up joining though. I think this would've been the perfect way to write in Marley, Jake, Ryder, and Unique. I just think it would've meant so much to Kitty especially to have someone from her core group there again.
Also I could reallllly do without Myron and the Alistair kid, but I would love to see more of Jane and her discontent with having to team up with the Warblers. But I understand that there's a small set of episodes. Still though, it would've made more sense to bring back these characters you've established rather than bring in the Warblers and the ugly gay kid and the annoying mini gay.
