I really can't stand Eugene and his Bill Hicks looking ass.

I'm rewatching from the beginning and the first two seasons are so much better than the most recent ones imo. Even the people I disliked (Shane, Andrea, Lori) were strong characters. Now half of these new people are just boring and I don't care about them at all.

Now half of these new people are just boring and I don't care about them at all. I mean that's kinda what I beenT saying about Andrea but y'all weren't tryna hear it. Maybe next time you'll bless the prophet. Season three was the absolute pits and it was very Queenish of the then-executive producer to kill ha just because he didn't like Laurie Holden personally. You can tell the current executive producer is finally turning things around after spending season four cleaning up the other guy's mess. Personality wise, a lot of the characters are finally making some strides - particularly the women, which is nice, since the only other two who seemed to have opinions of their own were Lori and Andrea and they were both killed off. Although in Carol's case, while I appreciate her growth, I can't help but find it really obvious that a lot of her arcs were intended for Andrea and I fume when I think about that, but slay I guess.

I heard Andrea (and Dale) wanted out because they were close to Frank Darabont (they're both in a bunch of his movies/shows) and were unhappy with how his firing went down.
I didn't realise until I rewatched The Mist a couple weeks ago that Andrea, Dale and Carol are all in it.

I'm re-reading this thread to see if any of my opinions have changed since I first watched it. I'm surprised I didn't hate Carl from the very start.

Carl's voice gets deeper every episode.
And yay for Daryl questioning Rick's leadership for once.

It never even crossed my mind that Beth would be killed off here. I thought for sure she was going to rejoin the group and be more of a badass after everything she went through, kinda like Carol.

That episode was lame. This show is trying way too hard to be artistic and dramatic. You're a fucking zombie show. Be fun to watch again, damn.

Just removed this from my DVR line-up. I'm over it. You got out at the right time. This weeks episode was the most boring shit ever. I think I'm done too. I'll read the spoilers each week and if something major happens then I'll watch but other than that I'm out.
