Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis Cast in Scream QueensRyan Murphy's new Fox series Scream Queens just landed two big names: Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Scream Queens is a new horror-comedy anthology series with a debut season that revolves around a college campus that's rocked by a series of murders.
Both castings seem very fitting: Roberts has been on Murphy's more hardcore American Horror Story franchise on FX, appearing in Coven and Freak Show. Plus, Roberts co-starred in the horror-comedy film Scream 4. While Curtis was one of Hollywood's original scream queens, having starred in John Carpenter's 1978 slasher classic Halloween, plus other horror titles like The Fog, Prom Night and Terror Train, in addition to non-horror titles like True Lies.
Fox has ordered 15 Scream Queens episodes for a planned debut next fall. The series is co-created by Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. Murphy, Falchuk, Brennan and Dante Di Loreto will serve as executive producers.
Source Y'all already know I'm here for this. Who else would you like to see join the cast? Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt or Neve Campbell would make great additions.

Heather Langenkamp should have a cameo or something.
And Eliza Dushku is hardly ever mentioned as a scream queen despite being in a lot of horror movies. Although to be fair, most of them are crap. Wrong Turn was great though.

Shawnee Smith would be a pretty cool addition.

Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Lea Michele (Glee), Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), and Keke Palmer (Masters of Sex) have joined the cast of his new comedy-horror anthology series Scream Queens, Fox announced at the Television Critics Association's winter TV press event. Additionally, pop star Ariana Grande has been tapped for a recurring role.
The first installment of the anthology series tells the story of a college campus that's rocked by a series of murders. As previously announced, Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts will also star.
The limited series hails from Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto, all executive producers on Glee and American Horror Story.

Oh, just when I was starting to look forward to this. You'll still have Lea Michele to jerk off to. Eww. If this Glee creator bitch wanted to cast someone from that show it should've been Dianna Agron or Naya Rivera.

Lucien Laviscount and the Rhodes twins are gonna be in this and that worries me because we all know Ryan doesn't know how to write around stunt casting boy toys without it being at the expense of everyone else ( the entire cast of Glee and Darren Criss, Neil Patrick Harris on Freak Show and MAGGIE ). But the twins are YouTubers so they can't be that talented. He's probably just bringing them on to objectify them. Per usual. Oh and Niecy Nash joined the cast, too.

Based on leaked info, Emma's character Chanel is the queen bee, and Lea's character Brittany wants to be a famous actress ( ), and Jamie Lee Curtis plays a professor at their college. Chanel either bullies or used to bully Brittany, who isn't supposed to be likable either. Oh and Emma has top billing so she's the star.
