I heard that Slender Man is going to be the big bad next season.

The first episode of the new season was pretty good.
This show always starts well though and can never keep it up.

I'm loving this season so far. It's like a throwback to the first two seasons in tone. And it's only been two episodes, but I like how organically they're incorporating all of the familiar faces as characters who have a point and a purpose to the story instead of just cramming them in there somewhere like they did with the last two seasons. This was Gaga apparently: So glad she's not playing herself again and has a much smaller role this year.

This season is SO good, but... I don't know how it can possibly continue now that they've gotten Flora back. There's literally no reason for them to continue to stay in that house for even another minute without them instantly becoming total dumbasses.

This entire time I've had it backwards. I thought the reenactors were the real people and the real people were the reenactors. There's a theory that Gaga's character ( or well, the character her character is playing ) was the original Supreme.

This season isn't pulling any punches. I gasped when Shelby hauled off and bashed Matt's head in. And all of the real villains this season are so much darker and scarier than the reenactors, but I am a little disappointed Jessica Lange and Emma Roberts weren't the real Butcher and Scáthach. Not that I personally expected either of them to be, but fan hype got my hopes up. Agnes gettin bopped by the real colonists though. But speaking of Scáthach, if she's the original Supreme, but also immortal, then how did the Salem witches ever come to be Supremes?

Ryan Murphy announced that the season after next is gonna be a Murder House/Coven crossover. How tf is that gonna work when everyone is dead?

Jesus fucking Christ, I swear to God if he kills Lana Winters. It better just be her interviewing whoever the sole survivor is.
Leave the old characters alone.

This season is tew much. I've been tired of Sarah Paulson always getting the happy ending since Coven, but the last two episodes have made me love Audrey so much that I don't want her to die. But at the same time Leegend has been that bitch and I know only one can survive. Mess if it ends up being Monet. I think either Audrey will survive, because I've heard that Ryan has been wanting to do a scene of Sarah acting alongside herself and we know he isn't above writing an entire season finale around a whim, or I think it'll be Lee and the LEGENDARY Lana Winters will grill her ass and make her confess to killing her husband, and then she'll probably be charged with killing everyone else. I also heard Taissa is going to appear this season and that she'll likely be one of the campers shown in the preview for next week. I swear if the survivor is a last minute character... I can't believe we didn't discuss a single Coven episode in this thread, yet there's pages worth of us talking about Freak Show.

This season has been insanely brutal. I like that it's not going over the top like last season.
I really hope Lee makes it out alive, but when Audrey pummeled the cannibal grandma's head I cheered. I ended up watching the last three episodes in one sitting and man they wasted no time killing people. Honestly I could do without this season crossing over with any of the other ones because it feels like it's darker than any of its predecessors and it already stands so well on its own. Either way, he's done a great job so far, but that worries me because Ryan Murphy's track record on every one of his shows I've watched isn't good.

I'm fucking shook. I was rooting for Audrey SO FUCKING HARD but when the police found both of them I knew one of them was gonna kill the other and at least her death was memorable. She's ended up being one of my favorite AHS characters alongside Lana and Madison. Both her and Monet's reactions when Lee said they didn't belong there. I think this was the most brutal episode of the series, though. Monet's death and holy shit, the sacrifice of Taissa and the other guy were so graphic. Poor Jacob Artist. I SWEAR TO GOD IF LEE KILLS LANA WINTERS NEXT WEEK.

I feel like Lana is gonna confront Lee with the evidence that she killed her ex-husband but then at that moment Scáthach is gonna possess Lee again and she's gonna go on a live TV killing spree.

I'm catching up on what I've missed. Cricket is hilarious. The Butcher and all the stuff about her is terrifying though. Those sccenes with the witch.
